For Stephen Hawking, the world-renowned expert in theoretical physics and cosmology, the success of Donald Trump’s presidential campaign is a mystery.
Hawking called Trump "a demagogue who seems to appeal to the lowest common denominator,” during an appearance on the United Kingdom’s ITV network.
In addition to his scientific work, Hawking, who has a slow-progressing form of ALS, is a vocal advocate for individuals with disabilities. Trump drew criticism late last year on the campaign trail when he appeared to mock a New York Times reporter with a disability at a rally in South Carolina. Trump later denied mocking the reporter and said he had never met him.
During the same television appearance, Hawking urged British voters to vote in favor of keeping the U.K. in the European Union. The much-discussed “Brexit” vote is scheduled for June 23 and a vote to leave the EU would cost Great Britain in terms of its economy, national security and scientific research.
"Gone are the days we could stand on our own against the world,” he said. “We need to be part of a larger group of nations, both for our security and our trade."

Outside of physics Hawking is a moron. And within physics he’s not as smart as he’s made out to be.
Wasnt he the one who claimed that there will never be a drive that will travel faster then the speed of light? Or at least very very fast?
Well, a Brit engineer has invented what they call the EM drive, and although it wont go the speed of light, it will get us to Mars in about 30 days and NASA is supposed to have tested a working engine and it works...and uses virtually very little energy. From there, they say once they perfect it-in a couple short years, they will have an engine that will create a bubble of some sort and will allow space travel very long distances in very short times. The Brit demands that it not be called a warp drive, which it isnt, according to him.
Hawking is bewildered by a vibrating toothbrush.
His physical/medical circumstances are unfortunate. Wouldn’t wish that on anyone. Other than that....yet another dweeb getting back at the world (humanity) for him being a dweeb, IMHO.
He gew up in British academia. They live in a complete ‘bubble’.

The elites and liberals are just like teenagers - they want to be thought of as cool and trendy. They are cowards who can’t think for themselves.
