Kentucky man caught with cross embedded in tires after Memorial Day display vandalism

Henderson Police Department made an arrest in a vandalism case after they found the suspect’s car with a cross and stake to hold the cross embedded in his tires.

Anthony Lavelle Burrus, 27, charged with criminal mischief and leaving the scene of an accident. Burrus was arrested after police said a vehicle drove through the Memorial Day cross display at at 5:55 a.m. Saturday in Central Park in Henderson, Kentucky.

27? This must have been a photo from his first booking when he was 12, or perhaps it was the best one of a series. We remember Trayvon’s photo in the little white hoodie when he was about 10, not when he was a 300# man. Either the police or the press are guilty of posting pictures of adult criminals that were taken when they were in elementary school. Perhaps the are both at fault.

I go by the rule of: if you are of a racial or ethnic group & you want to use a particular word that coming from someone outside of said specific group would be offensive, you have that right. Outside that group you don’t use it.
