This past season imho, he did not “endorse,” but was savaging callers for a certain candidate, and did not allow balanced view points to be expressed. If he did let in some callers, he would beat up on them. He behaved toward his audience in very uneven handed ways. It was not fun to listen to, and at some point, I felt like “ENOUGH!” - so he is not welcome in my life from 11:00-2:00.

I used to respect him deeply, but I do not hang on his words as I did before. He may be a patriot of sorts. I like the children’s history books. I can’t know what truly is in a person’s heart, but by his behavior, I have to say he has lost a LOT of my respect.

Trust me I grieved for his loss to me, but I’m so over it now.

“Rush never endorses presidential candidates during the primary process.”

Rush broke his personal code of impartiality during the 2016 primary, and most of his listeners know it.

In the three months leading up to the demise of the Cruz campaign, he turned his show into a daily three hour infomercial for Ted, and took every opportunity to kneecap Trump.

It was shameful, and beneath someone of his stature in the conservative community.
