I think the Clintons think this whole thing will just blow over.

And it may, if we don’t see an indictment.

If we don’t see any indictments of anybody here, then this plays into the Clintons saying that this is all political, and the whole investigation was just a security review, not any sort of criminal investigation.

So, we’ll see. if there’s no indictment of Hillary, then this whole issue will fade from the scene.

"...if we don’t see an indictment."

Speculation is there will be a torrent of "leaks" if there is no indictment.
Like the Pentagon Papers on steroids, this could (finally) be the end of the Klinton circus.

Everything else has always blown over for the Clinton’s, they have good reason to think that.
I believe there is plenty of evidence to get an indictment for anyone else.
It will be up to AG Lynch if it is just an FBI report detailing “mistakes” or it is referred for prosecution.

Never forget the nuts on the left went balls out to indict anyone they could in the nonsense Valarie Plame game.... Ultimately Scooter Libby, the chief of staff to then-Vice President Dick Cheney, was convicted of perjury, obstruction and lying to the FBI about the leak.... Hillary Clinton risked national security by having classified information available on her home server ripe for the pickings by hackers and agents of foreign governments she is guilty of of espionage... The only way she gets away is if we stop talking about it.

I disagree. I think it is very unlikely that the FBI won't recommend that HRC be indicted. If HRC were ahead in the polls, and the FBI recommended HRC be indicted, then the DOJ would decline and this would fade away. However, with Trump doing so well, the Dems are nervous. If the FBI recommends HRC be indicted, I don't think the DOJ is going to refuse to indict; I think they'll indict so the Dems can pressure HRC to get out of the race and they'll supplant her with Biden/Warren. What could be interesting is that I don't think HRC will go away even if she is indicted!

IMHO, don't think so, for a variety of reasons. Even the Foster case is coming back for scrutiny. I personally don't think that Hillary's trustability can be resurrected at this point. She would have to change entirely as a person, and do a mea culpa. Plus, there will be leaks, as someone else suggested.
