Life insurance is to protect your family against a financial loss that a death would cause. The only financial loss you would suffer in the death of an infant is the cost of the burial. A few thousand dollars at the most.

He will have been in prison for 25 years when he is up for parole. I hope he gets denied.

The worst criminal in this story is the judge.

I tried to buy $50,000 life insurance policies for my two minor children but was told by my agent that $25,000 was the max, by law. (Illinois)

Baby murderers are pretty low on the food chain in prison.

3 month old. Just what I wondered. What insurance company would write such a policy?

No justice in the courts. Hopefully he will meet some justice with his inmates.

Life, cut to 50 years; means he’ll probably end up serving 15, maybe 20.

It is MD; they haven’t had anyone good since Spiro T. Agnew, and he wasn’t that good either.

It would be odd if the prisoners had more morals than the judges and the American people. Just wondering

It seems so utterly strange. Why the equivalent of a slap on the wrist. Something has to be quite unusual in this picture.

I do not know. I have $50,000 on all my children with purchase options for them that will allow them to purchase up to $250,000 without showing insurability. I did it so they would always have life insurance and may never have to purchase any other personal policy besides the guaranteed purchasing options. Few people need more than a quarter million in whole life and most can buy cheap insurance through their employer for term life.

$750,000 would be hard to write on any child considering they would not be able to show cause for such a high life face value. I can not imagine an insurer actually issuing that size policy on a new born.

I got policies on all my children within a few months of their birth. The one exception was our second born.

He was born with a genetic defect and was ineligible for life insurance from most carriers. I was able to secure a whole life policy from a fraternal organization that I belong to. They require that all members be allowed to insure every one of their children for a $5,000 policy. My wife also gets $10,000 per child in group life through her employer.

It is very lucky that we where able to get it as we unfortunately had to make a claim when he passed away. The insurance was of great help. We where able to bury him and pay off some of his medical expenses.

As for 11 years. Women are allowed to kill their own children legally as long as they employ an abortionist. So......
