I love this election year. It will probably end in tragedy, but damn, what a ride! No kidding, like the serial cliff hangers of days gone by. Who needs soap operas. And we still have the Dem Convention coming up! Washherhair-Schultzie battling for her life on the undercard, disaffected Berners in the streets, oh man. Popcorn sales will be rising as fast as gun and ammo sales.

WFB is spinning. Lowry (along with Jonah Goldberg) is a weaselly, mole eyed traitor. He (and NRO) has lost any credibility they had in the conservative movement.

It will be pretty entertaining.

Don’t bother posting an article where the only information you initially post is the headline.

I can see people working against the DIABLO (democrat in name only) republican party, but working with Hillary is proof they are DIABLOs and not conservative at all.

When I was a teenager we had a record album at home called The Incredible Year. It was produced by CBS News. Basically audio clips of reporting of all of the horrible, tragic things that happened in 1968 (Chicago convention riots, RFK assassination, MLK assassination, more riots, Soviet invasion of Czechoslovakia, etc. etc.)
I listened to it and came away shaking my head and thinking "My God, how did my parents ever survive THAT?"

Lastly the leader says Trump is misusing Vets. As a vet, I find that difficult to believe but if he was misusing them, surely compared to what Obama has done it is not a problem.
The actual members of the local Republican organizations around here in Georgia were majority Cruz during the primaries. However, the military folks (this is a big military area) was ALWAYS for Trump, including a respected retired general.
The plotters have NO IDEA how military minds and families think and are motivated.

I wonder what group is keeping NR solvent. Could it be Rupert Murdoch ?
I think he is one of them, if not the largest.

The Left is trying to keep the divisiveness alive so many Republicans will stay home on election day, like they did with Romney. Only THIS TIME the reasons have changed, and it won't happen again!..................

I agree; Republicans won't stay home. Look at Jeb Bush: a decent person who lost humiliatingly, with every reason to be outraged at Trump for what Trump said about GWBush. While Jeb said he wasn't going to vote for Trump, he said he wasn't going to vote for HRC either. That means a very small percentage of Republicans — a vanishingly small percent — may stay home on Election Day, most will go, and 99% of them will vote for Trump

Those nerdy losers at NR finally reunited with the bullies they would hide behind their mom during high school, and try to persuade the thugs to bully one of the biggest bullies on the street? How pathetic

I was in college at the time, struggling with organic chemistry. Surviving that class, and a break-up with my girlfriend at the time, seemed more important to me than the national and international turmoil. I think most of us take that attitude. Life’s personal ups and downs are in the forefront, and everything else is largely background noise.

The so-called ‘Blue-Blood Republicans’, generally NE liberals and well-to-do types elsewhere, probably will stay home on Election Day, but what puzzles me is TRUMP is really THEIR PERFECT STYLE CANDIDATE.............

This may be a case where they say one thing and do another, afraid of derision from their fellow country clubbers if they say anything positive about Trump, so the talk the talk, but once they are behind the curtain they will vote accordingly for Trump............

Apt description! My hope is that they get to reap what they’ve sowed.

I was on a Naitonal Review Post Election Cruise in 2010. 800 people signed up. The best showing ever. If Trump wins(even if he doesn't) find out the numbers my friends. I don't think they will be so proud.
Wouldn't the numbers from 2008 and 2012 the presidential elections years be the better comparison, i.e., apples-to-apples, regardless of results?
And, would the 'Victory Cruise' be much bigger than 'Losing Cruise' or are we talking about a pretty small number of people i.e., the sample of "like-minded" people willing to go on any cruise is too small to make any reasonable conclusions?
