In March a group of Democratic attorneys general formed “AG’s United for Clean Power.”
It sounds nice enough, doesn’t it? New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman, standing beside a grinning Al Gore, announced that the gang was going after any energy providers and distributors who may have committed thought crimes such as questioning the human cause of the 0.8oC global warming since 1880.
MIT atmospheric scientist Richard Lindzen said the appropriate response to this tiny warming is to shrug and say, “So what?” It is a tiny fraction of the daily temperature change in most places, and a smaller fraction of the seasonal temperature change. But at the AGs’ meeting Al Gore called it a “climate crisis.”
The state AGs are in lockstep with federal Attorney General Loretta Lynch, who recently said she is considering legal actions against “climate change deniers” (a nonexistent species, since no one denies that climate changes).
You may wonder how this could be possible in the United States, where freedom of speech is guaranteed in the Constitution.

To see that AGW is fraudulent you need only consider that the cranks concerned about it propose the same solution - world government and global taxes with them in charge - as they did back when global cooling was the big fright. If a problem and its opposite are both ‘solved’ by the same action then the ‘problem’ isn’t a ‘problem’.
There is a town in Alberta, Canada with the evocative name of Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump. It takes its name from a geologic feature that North American Indians used to hunt bison. The Indians would stealthily arrange themselves around a herd of bison and, at a signal, jump up and alarm the herd into a stampede. By their strategic positioning, the Indians would cause the herd to stampede over a cliff (the buffalo jump) thus killing or sufficiently injuring the animals so that they’d be short work for Indians waiting below the cliff.
The Obama administration has been using buffalo jump hunting on the Congress and the American people. It is at the root of Rahm Emmanuel’s now notorious comment that “You never want a serious crisis to go to waste.” The Cloward-Piven strategy of revolution prescribes a method for fomenting crises that can serve as predicates for buffalo jump hunts that advance the left. The “Stimulus” was one such stampede — Congress didn’t even take the time to read the bill before running [us] over the buffalo jump. Another one was the “Health Care Crisis”.
Everyone run in fear! Obama will show us the “escape route”; in our rush to “safety” we won’t heed the fatal drop in front of us. Next will come the “Carbon Crisis”. And then...well, save something for next time.
If the American people don’t stop stupidly rushing headlong from every phoney buffalo jump crisis their first awareness of impending doom will be on the ride down to disaster.
I like the analogy. There is no shortage of Buffalo Jumps across the west. They were apparently very effective.

I think it’s going to take a guy firmly enough rooted in practicality, like Donald Trump, to break through this spell of lies.
Will he be the utter redemption of America? No. Something more is needed, something strictly of God. However I think that what he does will make it easier to see the hand of God and thus, to follow that hand the rest of the way.
He may be in his reward by then (whether hot or cold, or perhaps it is both) but his progeny? “We told you that we had to act, and now see, the climate is no longer acting up.”
Taking out the trash is gonna be so awesome.
