I've eaten in China and been to Chinese food markets and this looks quite genuine to me!

Kind of like the dog treat “chicken” products sold here in the USA.

They’re denying it, which means it’s true.
If it weren’t true they’d ignore it.

I don’t believe it.
China doesn’t sell flesh, it buys it!
They’re rolling in dough.

She said Chinese firms were collecting dead human bodies, marinating them and packing them in tins. The only reason they know this is that an hour later, they were hungry again.

Technically corned beef is brined and not marinated, so I’m going to call BS on this story. :)

China won’t sell human meat as foreign meat exports. They get too much selling it to hospitals for transplantation, or worst case scenario, feeding to livestock as cheap fodder.

An improvement over African bush meat, to be sure.

Considering some of the things chinese companies have been caught doing to their products, including the types of meat products they actually use in things compared to what they say they use, I actually can more than half believe they would have no problem doing this.
On the other hand, human flesh reportedly tastes nothing like beef, let alone corned beef. Or chicken.
Look up historical references beginning with cannibalism for proof of exactly that.
I heard a joke song not too long ago that relates to this:
Did you ever think, when you ate Chinese
It’s not pork or chicken but a fat Siamese
Yet the food tastes great, so you don’t complain.
But that’s not chicken in your chicken chow mein.

With some onion powder, soy sauce, a touch of citrus, and some garlic it would taste like jerky.
