A Muslim man held a festering grudge against his young bride since the day of their wedding, prompting him to take gruesome revenge. Finally fed up, he took a large pot of boiling water from the stove and poured it over his wife’s head, literally melting her face and body. When police arrived, they were told that the horrific scene was all because of what the woman still hadn’t given to her husband since the day of their wedding.
The barbarity of Islamic culture has not only survived 1,400 years of the rest of the world’s progress, but it is even being legislated every day in countries as their Muslim population grows. Of course, India has long battled their own medieval cultures, especially since the world’s greatest genocide in history brought on by the Muslim Conquests spreading to India. Like all other countries that open their borders to Muslim migration, India struggles to stave off Sharia law, and with it the brutal custom of Islamic honor killing.
On May 13, a young woman was nearly another casualty of Islamic honor killing, although she may wish she didn’t survive. The Indian Express reports that a 21-year-old woman was almost boiled to death after her 34-year-old husband and in-laws allegedly poured a large vat of boiling water on her because she failed to bring them a large enough dowry.

The big, big difference is that Hinduism rejects such behaviour and has pursued wiping it out completely, and has made huge progress against it. Honour and other killing in Hinduism is utterly rejected by 99% of Hindus as a grave sin. Which would make sense also because Hinduism is vegetarian and honours pacifism.
Whereas Islam universally supports honor killing philosophically, even where it is not practiced. Which would make sense also because halal meat certification in Islam maximizes the suffering of the animal being killed, and Islam honours the murder of non-Muslims as part of its faith.
Yuuuuge difference and completely different spiritual philosophies. Also, Hinduism atrocities are virtually all from primitive villages, of which India has a great many, while Islamic honor killings are practiced by educated western Islamics - because in Islam it's current teachings.
Why don't you talk about the Catholics burning witches in the middle ages being the same as Muslims burning captured pilots today? Same level of relevancy.

My brother and I once talked about different business ideas that would do well in his area, and he brought up certain security problems that were beyond the scope of private security, private police, or private detectives and what his local area needed was an Equalizer. They didn’t have a problem with crime, they had a problem with predators who know how to circumvent the law. There are a lot of people running up against a wall where there’s no solutions or no justice.
We also thought home health care would be a sure thing in his area. Interestingly we discovered licensing requirements for giving home care were miniscule, while those for operating a private detective agency was jumping through Everest-sized hoops. Of course, an actual “Equalizer” might not worry about a license ;)
It seems to me that many Americans, maybe not quite a majority yet, do sympathize “Stockholm syndrome style” with radical Islamists.
