Glenn Beck: Facebook Employees ‘Liberal’ but ‘Not Progressives’

Glenn Beck’s blog on Medium dishing on his trip to Facebook headquarters declares that the employees he met, while left-wing, were not “progressives,” a term he has used to label Republican politicians such as Newt Gingrich.

Beck’s “performance” at Facebook was feckless and embarrassing. With The Blaze tottering on the edge of insolvency, I’m sure Beck hit up everyone from Zuckerberg on down about investing in his company.

Since his groveling in Silicon Valley didn’t pan out, I’m guessing he’ll revert to the “apocalypse is upon us” schtick, and predict another, pending economic collapse. It’s probably the most accurate prediction he could offer, but Beck is looking at it in terms of new advertisers, clicks and revenues, since he gets a portion of the sale from every food survival kit sold through his program.

Like the child that he is, Glenn never got over the thrill of learning a new word. Ever since he added his favorite word "progressive" to his limited lexicon, he's used it willy nilly ad nauseam, fitting it with great abandon into his rants conversations.

I have no doubt that there are a broad range of viewpoints at Facebook. The primary goal of Facebook is to make money.

That said, nearly all media outlets, in the pursuit of profit, purposely project a bias to attract certain customers. It's not an accident that CNN and Fox seem to be different from one another.
