A Home Depot employee is causing quite a stir online after a photo of her in her trademark orange apron and a hat that read America Was Never Great went viral. I was honestly shocked I didnt expect any of this to happen, Staten Island resident Krystal Lake, a Bernie Sanders supporter, told the Staten Island Advance. A spokeswoman from Atlanta-based Home Depot said employees arent to wear items that reflect political statements, but Lakes says she definitely will wear her hat to work again. I feel it offended a lot of people because a lot of (Donald) Trump supporters live in Staten Island, she told the Staten Island Advance, noting her hats send up of Trumps Make America Great Again slogan. Trump is very rash and in your face, but when someone else has a message against him, his supporters cant take the criticisms.

I can’t believe no one ripped that off of her head.....I would have done it....
Too bad she’s so bad off that she can’t find a job, afford expensive makeup and bling, and ... oh, wait. Never mind.
One of the great things about America until the federal government began bloating and taking over every single aspect of our lives, is that the government in America did not try to get in people’s way (as much as other governments) People in America cannot make those contributions you referenced when government barnacles are encrusting their actions.
But the bigger issue here is not whether the slogan is stupid or smart. The issue here is that a company would allow someone to wear it to work, and that she would insist she is going to continue to wear it to work.
If it is company policy, they should tell her not to wear it to work again. If she does, she should be fired on the spot.
My guess, this young lady never aced a history course that taught history. Most likely she took a “Herstory” course and barely passed that one.
Sounds like a failure of our media and education system. There was a time when black unemployment was low and most blacks had a two-parent household.
I would ask her what Obama has done? And, I wouldn’t shop there (or target.) Whatever happened to being able to go buy something w/out being felt like your’re being slapped in the face?
Time to give another listen to Bezmenov on KGB demoralization campaign against the U.S.
Oh, please. Choosing to wear such a hat just screams "Notice me! Please, won't somebody notice me???" She probably hopes that a Trump supporter will start an altercation with her so that she can get even more attention as a victim.
America is a great land. Americans are great people.
But to pretend that there are not great problems in America is insane.
Now, they have all come true.
Here is where I disagree with you. In the last century the USA built the Panama Canal, the Hoover Dam, the trans continental highway system, fought and won two World Wars, went to the moon and made space travel common. In the past seven years, we added nearly $10 TRILLION to the National Debt and were downgraded TWICE. What do we have show for all that expense? The smallest Military since BEFORE WW2. The most people on Food Stamps ever. Need I go on?
I gave him advice instead - "Get a job."
That sounds like the same article I read. Thanks for the refresher!
#KrystalLake@HomeDepotwasneverthatgreat...
Is it Home Depot’s policy to allow employees to go out of their way to antagonize customers? While the company is certainly free to adopt such a policy, knowing that is the case compels me to shop at a locale where my business is more appreciated.
Lol! Her name is Crystal Lake! Where’s Jason when you need him?
No it's not. Because America and all that it's represented for quite some time is indeed a mere shadow of its former self. You've left the planet since @1990.
The Occupied WH and the woman sporting this hat are EXHIBITS "A" and "B".
Why do so many US corporations seem to have a death wish?
Pissing off customers = Bankruptcy
Are they being needled under the radar by Obamabots to support the DIM agenda?
the ATL,, go figure..
Nah. That would be assault and allow her to play the victim. I'd have sought out the manager and ask him if it's Home Depot's new slogan.
Is it time to short Home Depot yet?
I missed the TGT trade. 83->67 (-20%) in two weeks.
