A Home Depot employee is causing quite a stir online after a photo of her in her trademark orange apron and a hat that read America Was Never Great went viral. I was honestly shocked I didnt expect any of this to happen, Staten Island resident Krystal Lake, a Bernie Sanders supporter, told the Staten Island Advance. A spokeswoman from Atlanta-based Home Depot said employees arent to wear items that reflect political statements, but Lakes says she definitely will wear her hat to work again. I feel it offended a lot of people because a lot of (Donald) Trump supporters live in Staten Island, she told the Staten Island Advance, noting her hats send up of Trumps Make America Great Again slogan. Trump is very rash and in your face, but when someone else has a message against him, his supporters cant take the criticisms.

How about asking to BUY the hat at Your local Home Depot????
Spread the Love.
Home Depot and Target are birds of a feather.
Her hat insults America, not Trump supporters. If she doesn’t get that, well, she’s not, only stupid but an asshat as well.
You can see by the photo shes just another paste eating, window licking, mouth breathing ingrate.
If she hadn’t won the Lottery Of Life to live in America she’d be picking berry seeds out of monkey poop for her breakfast.
Like Obama, she doesn’t get America. Let her be. Her arrogant ignorance will do her in.
I guess defeating Hitler was no big deal. Or going to the moon. Or the many pivotal contributions to science and technology. Or the huge amounts of humanitarian aid to other nations. What would be great would be to give a generation of arrogant entitled brats free stuff so they don’t have to work other than at telling the rest of us how much we all suck.
I have heard of a few going back to live in Africa.
They return here, shaken and trembling, in a few months.
I read an article years ago written by a black man who went to Africa. He was thankful that his ancestors were brought to the US because what he saw in Africa terrified him. The hardships his ancestors suffered enabled him to enjoy the fruits of the US.
Fire Home Depot.
Would be happy to raise money for her to move to thecafrican country of her choice .... With the caveat she renounces her American citizenship
“Thank God my Granddaddy got on that boat.” - Muhammad Ali, after seeing Zaire when he fought George Foreman.

This isn’t a criticism of Trump. It is a criticism of the USA and it is a reflection on Home Depot. If she was in whatever third world country that she thinks is great, she’d probably be a victim of a rape gang. The fact that America bends over backwards to care what a minority thinks is the proof that America really is great. In other countries, the majority rules.
I fired Homo Depot a long time ago. Homo Depot was never great.Their stores are in bad locations, and their merchandise selections suck. Their parking lots have far fewer cars then Menards or Lowes. I don’t know how thwy stay in business.
You took the words from me and beat me to the punch, funny thing is my dad who was in the Navy who served in that region said the same damn thing, it sucks to say it but you have it better here then over there.
That hat is ridiculous but I find the Make America Great Again slogan also kind of ridiculous. I get that it is Trump’s strategy to point out flaws of Obama, but Obama plays a small part (even with executive power overreach) of the state of the country.
When I see Make America Great Again I think of all the hard working people from every walk of life (small business owners, military, teachers, police, etc) who work to make America great every single day and this slogan belittles their contributions.
Trump recently released personal financial disclosure forms showing annual income of $557 million. I will never begrudge anyone for making an insane amount of money (great for them and for the employees who helped get him there) but to pretend that America is not great is insane.
Going to write a letter when I get home.
I work on weekends at my local Lowe’s, and I can tell you that they take this type of crap VERY seriously. The employee would have been told before she hit the sales floor to remove the hat, or be terminated.
When I read the pst before yours, I thought of that very article. The writer became the African Bureau Chief for some major paper and was all excited to be living in the land of his forefathers.
He recounted standing on a bridge during an uprising and seeing multiple headless torso’s floating downstream.
As I recall, he wrote something like “Thank God my great great great grandfather was brought to America as a slave so that my family could live better.
