The likelihood of Donald Trump being the GOP nominee is apparently causing some people in the #NeverTrump camp to become #OkayTrump. Jazz looked at this earlier today, specifically mentioning how the idea of Hillary Clinton as president appears to be causing much of the angst within the Republican Party. He isnt the only one to notice this, as National Review (the ones who put out the Against Trump issue just months ago) contributing editor Deroy Murdock also jumped into the #OkayTrump crowd.
I tried. In print, on air, online, and in person, I urged GOP primary voters to send to the White House chronologically Scott Walker, Carly Fiorina, Marco Rubio, and Ted Cruz. It seems they didnt listen .
A President Hillary would order liberal lawyers across the federal bureaucracy to sue global-warming skeptics under the anti-Mafia RICO statute, as U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch says she has discussed and referred to the FBI. Sixteen Democrat state attorneys general already are suing those who refuse to genuflect before the global warming altar
Thus, on Election Day, I will pull the lever for my fifth choice for president: Donald J. Trump. He is the only thing standing between America and the woman who would turn our exceptional country into Cristina Kirchners Argentina, if we are lucky, or Hugo Chávezs Venezuela, if we are not.
National Review isnt the only place looking to possibly change its tune on Trump. The Weekly Standard put out an email last week with the header Can America afford 4 more years of Obama policies under Hillary?

Another election where I have to hold my nose and vote for the lesser of two evils.
#FineTrumpButIReserveTheRightToSayIToldYouSo
Trump has been looking better and better since he became presumptive nominee on May 3. He is definitely acting more presidential and his Twitter feed has been very civil and informative lately.
I've been voting for 45 years, since 1971 when I turned 21. In every single election, save one notable exception, I've had to vote for "the lesser of two evils." The only time I ever voted for a perfect candidate was when I ran for office myself.
They finally realize Trump will be the next president and now they need to worm their way into DC and try and land a position for themselves or their clients or friends in the Trump administration.
They’re slowly coming around.
Ok, Trump is a moderate Democrat who hold the views Democrats held twenty years ago.
I used to be one at the time sympathetic to the centrist Democratic Leadership Council that tried to pull the party back from the Left.
Its the direction I thought the Democrats needed to move towards and I still do.
I’m like Ronald Reagan: I didn’t leave the Democratic Party. It left me.
And now its moving towards the Marxist Left. Is it any wonder Donald Trump is now a Republican?
JFK would be booted out of the Democrat Party today as he would be viewed as an ‘extremist’. And that’s no joke!
It will be hard to see these two groups in the same light again... ever.
The conservative impostors hated, hated, hated to be told they were dead wrong.
Now that Trump is winning, they want to scramble on board the Trump Train so they don’t get left behind.
That’s hard for Bill Kristol and Rich Lowry to swallow.
#NeverTrumpers are apparently quite malleable.
Now its Maybe.
If I was Trump, I wouldn’t give them the time of day.
It is good to see but we have to deal with crap like this:
There is always going to be those who we can never convince. Must minimize this.
“Another election where I have to hold my nose and vote for the lesser of two evils.”
That’s tired.
Just one example for you: maybe inspired by Obama’s rule by diktat, Hillary plans to implement with an executive order an Australian-type `gun buyback’ program, but of course sales are mandatory.

Trump supports our right to own MSRs: modern sporting rifles/evil black guns, and even has a gun carry permit.
You and your Myrmidions should stop sulking in your tents, Achilles, and join the battle.
And that’s just one issue. It’s no coin toss between the two.
It’s not even close.
Well, now, finally the #Never Trumpers are beginning to wake up to the reality of the situation: that there has NEVER been a 3rd party President, and that if even highly popular former POTUS Teddy Roosevelt couldn’t pull it off, then NO ONE can. Thus, finally the reality that the next POTUS is going to be either Hillary or Trump is hitting home...and they are beginning to understand what a Hillary Presidency means (hint: the end of this country as we know it - Obama was just a table-setter, she’ll administer the coup-de-grace).
I welcome ANYONE to the #ABC (Anybody But Clinton) movement - I have no purity tests, no time cut-offs, no requirements whatsoever EXCEPT that the person involved will actually vote against that corrupt, Leftist witch. I don’t care what bandwagon you were on, or for how long, or why...just vote against her!
Is Trump the perfect candidate, or will he be a perfect President? Nope - there is no such animal, never has been and never will be. I just want a President - for the first time since January 20, 1989 - who actually puts this country and its people ahead of the rest of the world; someone who is willing to fight for us because he is, at heart, one of us and who genuinely loves his country; someone who cannot be bought off by the Cheap Labor Express, someone who can’t be intimidated, someone who will just do what his better angels tell him to do to advance the cause of this nation and its people. Donald Trump is that man, and he is the ONLY one who can defeat Hillary Clinton. So, whatever warts he may have, I’ll take them over ANYONE from the demonically-possessed, anti-American Left.
Welcome aboard, #OKTrumpers!

“If I was Trump, I wouldnt give them the time of day.”
He wants their votes, not their advice. Listening to them only takes some time and patience, but is otherwise free.
They get NO cabinet positions, etc. - let them see the cost of siding with the enemy.
“You and your Myrmidions should stop sulking in your tents, Achilles, and join the battle.
And thats just one issue. Its no coin toss between the two.
Its not even close”
I don’t require a perfect person to be the POTUS, just someone who actually gives a damn about this country and is willing to fight for it. I will take practical conservatism over theoretical conservatism every day - even everyone’s favorite conservative President, Ronald Reagan, understood that politics is not an all-or-nothing game: you take what you can get, now, and use it to build on for future struggles. Freedom hasn’t been lost overnight in this nation, and it won’t be regained overnight, no matter how much we may want that to be the case.
Here’s the choice: Door #1 is a civilization-ending disaster, a corrupt Leftist witch who will be so over her head in international and economic affairs that even IF she wanted to do the right thing, she wouldn’t know how to do so. Door #2 is a very practical guy who knows what works and how, who has strategically planned decades ahead and who is unafraid to hire or take advice from people that he knows are brighter than him and who know their particular fields better than he does. Oh, but he won’t be a pure conservative, and he’ll do a few things that aggravate me. Guess what, I’ll take Door #2 EVERY TIME!
Trump is pro gun this year. He wasn't several years ago when he support the AWB. He's a moderate now, but he wasn't when he was supporting Hillary four years ago. Who knows where he stands. He's just another politician who'll say anything to get elected. The problem is that he has no track record to look at that would tell you where he really stands on the issues. He's an ego maniac without any filter between his brain and his mouth. I know Hillary would be bad, but I'm afraid Trump might be almost as bad. Thus my earlier comment. They both suck, but Trump may suck less.
So noted! (he said, jokingly)
I always said “voting is your right to complain. If you don’t, you shouldn’t”. This time is no different.
Well, except for calling Elizabeth Warren “Pocohantas” LMAO
