Love him or hate him, Donald Trump has certainly turned American politics on its head. Has it ever happened before in American history that a political party began to frame legislation against an opposing candidate’s proposals before he was even elected – much less one whose election was as inconceivable as the mainstream media would have us believe about Donald Trump? Yet that is exactly what the Democrats are doing: Rep. Don Beyer (D-VA) is spearheading a bill that would block a President Trump from instituting the temporary halt on Muslim immigration into the United States that he has proposed.
“It’s very narrow in scope,” says Beyer of his Freedom of Religion Act. “We’re not going to discriminate when it comes to immigration based on religion.” He added that his bill was intended to “appeal to hope rather than fear.” In our pusillanimous and puerile age, “fear” is not just a weakness of character, but a moral flaw: if you fear being beheaded or blown up by Islamic jihadists, you’re an evil person. And to be sure, fear is never to be encouraged or given into, but its opposite is not hope, it’s courage and resoluteness.
Beyer is not offering courage or resoluteness. He is proposing a ban on using someone’s religion as a reason for blocking them from entering the country based on the politically correct fiction that Islamic jihad terrorism has nothing to do with Islam, and that therefore to be concerned about jihad terrorists entering the country along with peaceful Muslim refugees is simply a manifestation of bigotry, racism and “Islamophobia.”

The Democrats have no viable solutions for these problems.
But they are introducing legislation to make any restriction on Muslims coming to America illegal.
The next Muslim inflicted massacre on our soil should be followed with Beyer charged with treason.
Keep in mind the Tsarnov's were refugees. How could they travel back and forth to their homeland under that status? That's a great talking point for HOR and US Senate members if they're stupid about their voting on increased scrutiny.
Just repeat Jimmy Carter’s bans on Muslims in 1970’s during the (first) hostage crisis.
Trump needs to bring back public hangings to deal with the corrupt, bribe-hungry, treasonous, vile things we call Congressmen who are currently betraying their country for 30 pieces of silver. We need term limits and no more career politicians like yesterday. Also no more greedy lawyer politiians from silver-spoon families without a shred of humanity or compassion for anyone but themselves. They should be glad that atriots (who they call the terrorists) aren’t likr thr true Soros manipulated terrorists known as the #BLM movement. Their homes would’ve already been torched, their cars over-turned, and they would have been dragged kicking and screaming out of their homes and beat to a pulp or worse. Hmmm now that’s a thought...

That’s easy then.. just refuse to allow transportation from countries that export terrorists, unless they can be completely vetted...
That means their fingerprints check, their back ground checks, etc etc etc... no more of these ‘undocumented’ aliens
There must be some group that sits around all day working for the democrat party coming up with euphemisms for ‘illegal’. The one who came up with the word ‘undocumented’ must have gotten a raise.
Charge him with aiding and abetting - on all counts. That way he and anyone else who supports this can (rightfully) rot in prison for the rest of their lives. Deadly muslim attacks are already occurring in the US. The rate of these attacks and the toll in deaths and injuries are only going to increase. Time the people responsible are held accountable. This is a predictable and inevitable outcome of the policies of certain “leaders.” They are aiding and abetting criminals in the commission of capital crimes. Hold them accountable.
We aren’t banning them because they are Muslim, we are banning them because we can’t accurately background check them to ensure they aren’t terrorists.
The GOPe are there to help....Obama.

Interesting Bit of Legislative History - MacCarran Walter Act of 1952
Trump was recently severely criticized for suggesting that the U.S. should limit or temporarily suspend the immigration of certain ethnic groups, nationalities, and even people of certain religions (Muslims). The criticisms condemned such a suggestion as, among other things, being “Un-American,” dumb, stupid, reckless, dangerous and racist. Congressmen and Senators swore that they would never allow such legislation, and the president called such a prohibition on immigration unconstitutional.
As Gomer Pyle would say, “Surprise, Surprise !!!” It seems that the selective immigration ban is already law and has been applied on several occasions. Known as the McCarran-Walter Act, the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1952 allows for the “Suspension of entry or imposition of restrictions by president. Whenever the president finds that the entry of aliens or of any class of aliens into the United States would be detrimental to the interests of the United States, the president may, by proclamation, and for such period as he shall deem necessary, suspend the entry of all aliens or any class of aliens as immigrants or non-immigrants or impose on the entry of aliens any restrictions he may deem to be appropriate.”
The act was utilized by Jimmy Carter, no less, in 1979 to keep Iranians out of the United States, but he actually did more. He made all Iranian students already here check in, and then he deported a bunch. Seven thousand were found in violation of their visas, 15,000 Iranians were forced to leave the United States in 1979.
It is of note that the act requires that an applicant for immigration must be of good moral character and “attached to the principles of the Constitution.”
Since the Quran forbids Muslims to swear allegiance to the U.S. Constitution, technically, all Muslims should be refused immigration.
