On Wednesday, billionaire Mark Zuckerberg will hold a meeting with leading conservatives, embattled The Blaze head Glenn Beck, and former George W. Bush Administration official and co-host of Fox News Channels The Five Dana Perino, at the websites Menlo Park headquarters to discuss Facebooks conservative media suppression and censorship scandal. Last week it was reported that anonymous sources at Facebooks news team have confirmed to Gizmodo that, in addition to suppressing conservative news sources, the company suppresses stories about itself while artificially promoting stories about the Black Lives Matter movement. In spite of this, Zuckerberg denies any wrongdoing, stating we have found no evidence that this report is true. He is instead planning to hold a session Wednesday where he will essentially pat conservatives on the head with a photo-op that is a direct testament to the fact that nothing has changed. It is also quite telling that he has reached out to Beck, who is struggling to remain relevant in the conservative media sphere.

Efferberg is just pizzed that a single Trump tweet — not an fb posting — single-handedly destroyed hillary’s earlier efforts to paint Trump as anti-woman.
fb can never offer its users the kind of power that Twitter can.
Is Good Old El Rushbo going to be at this meeting?
This is another attempt to define ‘conservative’ along the lines of these establishment cheapjacks.
What’s the point of all this? Does anyone pay attention to the “Trending” stuff? I certainly don’t.
Nice idea....but pretty hard to prove...
How do you prove a internet site or organization helped a candidate or party by not promoting their political opposition ?
I might add YAHOO, ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, MSNBC, FOX, HEADLINE NEWS, and a host of other lesser known outlets need to be sued as well, since they are not balanced and fair to all candidates...
Maybe all the lesser candidates running for POTUS should file suit as well since the news outlets ignored them too...!!
There is a bit of a difference here between Facebook and news sites. Facebook has a user agreement. They publicly also say the do not skew information. Now there is evidence they do. If they violate their agreement, seems an ingenious attorney should find cause for action. Consider the grief they have had over privacy rights. Tie the two together.
I just read mime...
I didn't see much in their agreement about what criteria they use to post information...
Of course, they have several different agreements for different services...
It might be in there...I'm simply not that vested to read them all...
I also will add each user has a "news feed preference" on their page, they can tweak to their liking...
I have no doubt Facebook leans left, but my point to you was suing them for bias won't work...
You’re probably right. I’m definitely not an attorney. Probably best to shame them into some sort of even-handedness, or at least eliminate the more extreme biases. Same goes for Twitter, which has been removing lots of tweets, including many by Trump. Odd not much news on that beyond a passing note here or there.
That was his plan. He thought Trump would self destruct, then he would be able to step in and become the front runner without having to dirty his hands. Only problem is, Trump didn’t self destruct. When Cruz finally realized that Trump wasn’t going to go away on his own, he leaked that audio of himself talking to his donors, where he made some unflattering comments about Trump. Soon after, the gloves were off, and the phony Cruz façade of liking Trump, and wanting to run a positive campaign dropped. That’s the clearest indication that Cruz was always a fraud - a phony conservative who sees words and promises as nothing more than a means to deceive people.
I am so sick and tired of these so called ‘conservatives’ how about calling them traitors and one loon?
Trump had David Duke spewing crazy talk on his behalf and he balked at denouncing his support.
That’s not true. He said that he didn’t want his support. Plus, I never saw Duke on the campaign trail with him.
