ADL demands Trump renounce support of white supremacist leader

The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) has called upon the Republican Party’s presumptive nominee, Donald Trump, to formally renounce the support of American Freedom Party head William Daniel Johnson.

Johnson, an attorney and white nationalist leader who has endorsed Trump’s candidacy, was initially selected as a delegate for California’s upcoming GOP primary.

Writing under a series of pen names, Johnson has advocated what has been referred to as the “James O. Pace” Amendment to the US Constitution. Under Johnson’s proposed amendment, all non-Aryans, with the exception of Native Americans and Hawaiians, would be deprived of citizenship and deported from the United States.

The Trump campaign’s original delegate slate for California included Johnson but later claimed his inclusion was the result of a “database error”.

A local Trump campaign director, Tim Clark, emailed Johnson, telling him that his selection was an error and asking him to step down from the position.

“They made a mistake,” Johnson told the Guardian. “They removed me, and that’s fine.”

Despite an initial report, however, that the Trump campaign was unable to alter its slate after the deadline, as of Sunday, Johnson’s name did not appear on the delegate list.

The ADL has insisted that the Trump campaign openly condemn Johnson and renounce his support.

So, should the so-called “supremicists” not be allowed to vote in American election Since? When the left is hell bent on allowing convicted felons, and illegal aliens the right to vote, I think that means that anyone gets to vote.

If Trump “denounced” these people, does the left think that will stop him from winning. Given their opinion that EVERY white person is “racist”, and therefore “supremacist”, does the left think this - another spitball ploy to bas Trump - will really make a difference?

Johnson graduated from Brigham Young University where he majored in Japanese and later served as a Mormon missionary in Japan.[4][5]

Before becoming an activist, Johnson's background was as an attorney. He was admitted to the bar in California in 1981, Colorado in 1990, and Arizona in 2006.

In the 1980s, Johnson began to use three separate identities to promote his work. Under the name James O. Pace, he wrote a 1985 book advocating a constitutional amendment (the "Pace Amendment") that would repeal the 14th and 15th amendments[6] and deport almost all non-whites from the United States. This proposal was similar to one advocated earlier by J. B. Stoner.[4] The Pace Amendment proposed defining whiteness thusly:

“No person shall be a citizen of the United States unless he is a non-Hispanic white of the European race, in whom there is no ascertainable trace of Negro blood, nor more than one-eighth Mongolian, Asian, Asia Minor, Middle Eastern, Semitic, Near Eastern, American Indian, Malay or other non-European or non-white blood, provided that Hispanic whites, defined as anyone with an Hispanic ancestor, may be citizens if, in addition to meeting the aforesaid ascertainable trace and percentage tests, they are in appearance indistinguishable from Americans whose ancestral home is in the British Isles or Northwestern Europe.
