Sorry....I think Cruz has stalemated his career. He'll wind up taking a judgeship after he loses his Senate seat to another Republican.
Or he can be an attorney for his wife's firm. IIRC, she only took a leave of absence.

I wish Cruz would join the Trump team, and IMMEDIATELY. It would be best for everyone, and give Cruz by far his best chance of eventually becoming POTUS.
Still, my bet right now for VP would be Susana Martinez.
