OAKLAND (CBS SF) — Hidden microphones that are part of a clandestine government surveillance program that has been operating around the Bay Area has been exposed.
Imagine standing at a bus stop, talking to your friend and having your conversation recorded without you knowing. It happens all the time, and the FBI doesn’t even need a warrant to do it.
Federal agents are planting microphones to secretly record conversations.
Jeff Harp, a KPIX 5 security analyst and former FBI special agent said, “They put microphones under rocks, they put microphones in trees, they plant microphones in equipment. I mean, there’s microphones that are planted in places that people don’t think about, because that’s the intent!”
FBI agents hid microphones inside light fixtures and at a bus stop outside the Oakland Courthouse without a warrant to record conversations, between March 2010 and January 2011.

The mosque bug is a natural progression of the thought. I am just the first to mention it on this thread.
I really don’t think that you would catch a real conspiracy of Jehadis that way. They would be schooled in spy craft and know not to discuss plans in public.
What you might catch though is a group of home grown lone wolf types that have not been to the Pakistan jihadi camps.
I don’t think that type would be cruising the FR threads looking for intelligence.

Some folks are mentioning Alex Jones. Here’s the truth of that matter. Much of what is in each conspiracy theory is a pack of lies.
It starts with truth about a crime or wrong being committed by only a few highly placed people—a conspiracy indeed.
Then, to prevent others from realizing and doing something about the crime, the truth is garnished with a silly pack of lies. Voila.
No one else will listen to the truth. They ridicule it along with the attached false information. It’s an old official trick that has been carried out in funded trials.
Scrape the lies off of the originally bit of evidenced truth in the conspiracy tale. Disseminate it.
The greatest threat that you can present to the system is that of refusing to further ingest its propaganda (television, Internet news sites, etc.) and building to be more self-sufficient with home energy, transportation and other things. Stop spending so much.
There are over 40 million people employed in various ways by the various levels of government. Some of them comprise most of the energy investors (hedge funds and many other kinds of funds—see local energy companies) and NIMBYs against property rights and further development.

I was at the Workforce 1 job center when I was on unemployment, taking a Microsoft certification class. It is also the welfare office. The classroom I was in faced the street and had a mirrored glass window. The welfare folks weren’t allowed to use their cell phones inside, so they’d come out and lean on the mirrored window and talk. The conversations were almost exclusively about crimes. Either they were currently high and talking about it, or about buying drugs to get high or about crimes committed to get drugs. One guy was a thief who was talking to a customer who was unhappy with his flat screen. He apologized that it didn’t work and said he had been doing a place last week with a nice one and he’d go back there today to get it for the client.
Another was an enormously fat and unappealing guy who, after his drug buy conversation said he was doing a porn video this afternoon. The entire class looked up and the woman beside me whispered, “maybe he’s the camera man.”
LOL! Fourth in line...

Vans with thermal imaging cameras, cameras, lasers bounced off window panes, drones, real time reports from electric and water meters to determine how many people are in the house, measuring quantity of internet packets entering and leaving the property....
