” the Pentagon’s Excess Defense Articles program”
Our tax dollars at work...
for a foreign country.
We taxpayers could use them here in the US.

The 762 armored vehicles were provided to the Egyptian military at no cost as part of the Pentagon's Excess Defense Articles program> MRAPs cost us between $500,000 and $1,000,000 each.
What the hell - just give them away.
Our grand kids and their kids can pick up the tab so our politicians can big time it and pat themselves on the back.
Obama is stripping down our military and turning it into just another democrat Affirmative Action wealth redistribution program anyway.

... provided to the Egyptian military at no cost as part of the Pentagon's Excess Defense Articles program, ... Excess? Excess? 762 excess MRAPs? Heck, don't give them away, I'll buy one of those suckers. It was my tax dollars that made them and they just throw them away left and right, no wonder our taxes are out of control.

I'm no expert, but didn't Egypt have the biggest protest in the history of the world to overthrow the mooselimb brotherhood government barkie installed?
I'm shocked to see any support of Egypt by barkie's administration, but I'll take anything I can get.

Sounds more DOD than Pentagon. Usually the State Department manages to weasel it's way into these give-aways too.

Within two years only a small number of these MRAPs will still be running.
The rest will be on their way to the recyclers to be shredded into scrap.

Forget it.
We cant be trusted with surplus mil equipment, ya know?
Only third world “soldiers” who wear mirrored sunglasses with cheap epaulets can be.
Not us proles who paid for it.
The military wnt allow U.S. Citizens to own most obsolete inventory fighter aircraft either, even though there’s a massive market for them.
But that doesnt stop them from handing the same aircraft over to Above Suspicion governments like say, Honduras...that well known bastion of rectitude.
