Donald Trump has spent his entire presidential campaign warning against the dangers of Mexican immigrants stealing American jobs, raping women and hauling drugs across the border.
Now, Mexico is fighting back.
Mexican officials are pursuing a counteroffensive to Trumps incendiary rhetoric, reaching out to U.S. business leaders, looking at ways to better use social media, and even encouraging qualified Mexicans to get U.S. citizenship. But theyre also trying to stay sensitive about taking more high-profile steps, such as running TV ads in an already overheated presidential race that promote Mexico as a friendly, vibrant neighbor and not a cesspool of criminals.

Rotsa Ruck!
replace "incendiary rhetoric" with "statements of fact".
Just let the American businesses try it. I have a “feeling” the stockholders won’t be happy.
Message for Mexico...”Stay the hell out of American politics”....
If Mexico wasn’t a cesspool of criminals why would so many of their citizen be fleeing here?
Isn’t the conditions in Mexico one of the arguments against deportations used by the Ministry of Propaganda?
I always prefer to get my political info from a guy(?) named NAHAL TOOSI!
Yes, when I want insights into international politics I always turn to NAHAL TOOSI.
I’ll have the curry chicken and some of that brown rice too.
“Message for Mexico...Stay the hell out of American politics....”
Ditto for the new raghead mayor of Londonistan! I hope Tump refuses to give him a visa to come here ever. Same goes for Vicente Fox!
It’s been a few years, but the wife and I wanted to go to the Frida Kahlo museum in mex city, and the mex gov website had warnings for tourists. Needless to say we didn’t go. Creepy place that mexico.
By stealing American jobs, raping women and hauling drugs across the border?
So do I...or if they do happen to come here, hope Trump explains in no uncertain terms that the interests of the USA are far more important to him than England or Mexico...
Anytime 10% of a country’s population winds up in the US, the US has the right to get deeply involved in that country’s business. And in unpleasant ways.
In a clear message of disgust with Donald Trump, Mexicans have banded together in Toluca to bake the world’s largest Taco shell.
Guatalupe Ruiz Gonzales Ducktape said, “We are hoping the Mr. Trump will come to visit us here, we will make the taco with heem.”
I hope Target goes broke. I refuse to shop there!
And we're supposed to call these SOB's "Americans" and tolerate their vote?
In the past few elections most white working class Democrats were indifferent or at least quiet of their opposition to illegal immigration. Not this year. Throughout the country, and especially in the Rust Belt states, white working class Democrats are letting their party know they’re not happy with illegals and the jobs they have taken or are threatening to take from them. The MSM won’t say it but the DNC and the Mexican government knows the anger in the Democrat ranks over this issue and they’re worried. The media will be shocked how huge Trump’s Democrat crossover votes will be.
Mexico is probably emptying out their prisons and shoving them across the border on us to get rid of them and for us to support.
I think it’s about time for another messkin a$$whipping.
They can start with a giant ad buy abjectly, grovelingly apologizing for their barbaric treatment of former Marine Andrew Tahmooressi, who accidentally crossed into Mexico, got thrown in prison, beaten up and tortured.
“not a cesspool of criminals.”-don’t forgot “corruption”, too...
I watch a couple of those Breaking Bad type novelas on some evenings-the ones about the narco mafia-if Mexico isn’t all of the above-mentioned things, why is that what is portrayed in great detail in those shows? In the highest rated one, even the Pres of Mexico is in the mafia’s pocket, and his new girlfriend is from one of the families-it is even better than the Sopranos...
Trump is right on this one, and Mexico needs to get over it-I’m of Latino ancestry, so I can be mean and intolerant of that country...
