Burr is another worthless turd that needs to be primaried!
There is no such a thing as compromise with libs. It’s their way or the highway. Why do Republicans in D.C. have such a difficult time coming to grips with this fact?
Honestly, I don’t get how this becomes a federal issue. If some states want to bend over for a one-half of one percent of very strange people, fine, let them.
How the federal government gets to come in on this case and dictate how it will be in every toilet stall in the country is something I just can’t see.
Also, I would think this would be a winning issue for one side or the other, and I don’t see the pro-men-in-the-ladies-room position working out too well, but what do I know.
but ya know, the federal government created this mess
Anyone who still wonders why the American people want to get rid of all politicians - even kill them if need be - has only to read articles like this.
It pains me to say it, but Burr is right. Not every issue is, or should be, Federal. The Constitution is (happily) silent on the subject of bathrooms. Once you determine that, one only needs to refer to the Tenth Amendment.
This is not a Federal issue.
The person to blame for this mess is obuma, barky, bath house barry, what ever you want to call it...
If we can help NC, then we should...this is a State Issue not the FEDS issue...if the people in NC don’t want this, then it’s their State, they don’t have to have it...
This should help the Republicans in NC though with the Democrats being all-in for perverts.
Exactly. Many in Congress prefer to have the courts do their dirty work for them, i.e. abortion, same sex “marriage”.
He is no Jesse Helms that’s for sure
The Department of Justice should stay out of the bathroom issue too! Children have a right to use the facilities without being exposed to a bunch of queer individuals who refuse to accept what nature has provided them with.
I would agree with Burr is wasn’t for the fact that the DOJ is citing a Federal law, the Civil Rights Act of 1964 as the basis of their charge. Congress passed that law and therefore must intervene as to the purpose for the law. I have read that Act, albeit a number of years ago, and it said nothing about transgenders. Burr needs to reverse his position and lead the charge to intervene. Or, I may have voted for him for the last time.
