No, Newt would not be the guy in eight years and that IS the criteria. (Plus Newt doesn’t want it IMO.)
Someone like Newt, yes - smart, intelligent, but NOT a career politician - preferably someone from outside government who has no problem drastically slashing the size of the mostly unconstitutional $4 trillion government.
