You are right. Trump is the closest thing to the perfect Republican candidate for 2016. He is also clearly the most Conservative--especially when you prioritize the issues.

Will anyone deny that the most important political issue from a pure Conservative position, is the continuity of the United States of America in a recognizable form? What could possibly be more important to any Conservative?

Secondly, what issues could be more important in that obvious pursuit than controlling our borders; in determining whom we allow to settle in America; in trying to protect the jobs and potential jobs of our rooted citizens from the manipulation by special interests?

Finally, a realistic analysis will indicate that the primary method of those who are destroying Conservative values in America has been the stifling doctrine of "political correctness." Who has struck the most meaningful blow against that stifling mechanism in the past twenty years? Surely the truest Conservative of the original 17 Republican candidates: Donald Trump!

Does anyone think that I have misstated the priorities?

Not misstated, but one sad factor is that a party with Trump (the best and last man standing, I agree) has little or no ‘moral’ credibility. I’ll be happy if he does 1/10th of what he’s promised, but can’t call it the ‘party of family values’ when your head is a foul mouthed philanderer, even if he is capable of figuring out and doing the right things on immigration and trade :-(
