Not misstated, but one sad factor is that a party with Trump (the best and last man standing, I agree) has little or no ‘moral’ credibility. I’ll be happy if he does 1/10th of what he’s promised, but can’t call it the ‘party of family values’ when your head is a foul mouthed philanderer, even if he is capable of figuring out and doing the right things on immigration and trade :-(
Describing someone as a "philanderer" implies that you have knowledge that I doubt that you have. (In any event, the Conservative way to deal with personal--as opposed to public excesses--is not to publicize them). And, of course, King Solomon was no celibate; but no one suggests stripping his books out of the Bible.
As for the particular Conservative's mouth--I would agree that I sometimes cringe at what I consider an inappropriate choice of words, particularly when directed at a women in public. But that does not cancel out the fact that on the primary issue--the preservation of America in a recognizable form--Donald Trump is head and shoulders above any body else in the present political context. I may cringe, sometimes, when he appears not know the gentlemanly (and most effective) way to deal with a pretty, but hostile, girl talking head. I will work very hard to see him elected.

I’m 62 Years Old. In my 20’s I could have been referred to as a “foul mouthed philanderer” even though I was a Registered Republican and considered myself Conservative.
Not a rock ribbed Conservative mind you, but a Conservative with Libertarian leanings. In the day I was vastly outnumbered by my Peers who in no way shared my Political beliefs.
On FR I read Posts where FReepers admit to all sorts of illicit behavior in their past such as Alcoholism, Pot Smoking (some still do and freely admit it) and having a History of Sexual Conquests.
Which reminds me. Who is most pinged Freeper? Lazmataz. LOL
With all that, these same FReepers are steadfast Patriots who support Conservative Policies, many with a Libertarian slant such as myself.

I thought Trump’s now and again vulgar language was refreshing. I doubt any of us have not said or heard the words he has on occasion used. Actually he talks the way men talk on the job, and if you have taken offense at his words you wouldn’t want to be around me when something goes wrong. He was being polite.
