He understands loyalty to a people's continuity--clearly what the context of the Fifth Commandment looks to. (How can anyone read it in any other way!) He understands that moral responsibility starts with your relations with those with whom you share the daily struggle--he communities you live in. He realizes that the real issues of what is best for the people our politicians, as well as our soldiers--and even us lawyers--are sworn to protect, are sacred! They cannot be betrayed--certainly not morally--for some sort of fantasy of a world that denies the realities of life.
I realize some religious people feel a calling to go out and help other nations materially--as well, of course, as spiritually. By no construction of anything ever found in scripture, can that possibly justify stealing your neighbor's birthright in the pursuit. It is not just about honoring your lineage. Stealing & Coveting are also condemned.
