So as some of you may know but I didn’t until tonight, West Va had a State Supreme Court race on the ballot, the first since switching the system to “non-partisan” (Republicans passed this, I have no idea if it’s a good idea or not, I also read the candidate aren’t “allowed” to talk about the issues).
The incumbent Justice, Brent Benjamin, was elected as a Republican and pissed off supporters by moving left. He faced 4 challengers, a conservative Republican Beth Walker and ancient Former AG Darrell McGraw (D) being prime among them.
Walker won with 37%! McGraw was second with 24%, Benjamin placde 4th with 13%. Great news. 12 year term.

That’s good news! Just maybe people are starting to listen and realize their vote does count. West Virginia was told about the closing of coal MINES and I really wondered why they would have had any Democrat in office along with PA.

Marlene tried something new yesterday. Despite having a zillion different types of banana, Filipinos have no idea about banana pudding. I found some vanilla wafers (not Nilla), we made vanilla pudding from scratch, and the result is soooooo good. It is probably my favorite dessert. Simple, but tastes great.
I sampled it last night, but the flavors hadn't melded, but I made sure that my breakfast was followed with dessert. Yummmmmm! I doubt it will make it past today!
