To: Roos_Girl
That is called “protection” money. Might be a hard concept for you to understand.

It doesn't mean anything. They can blow their money and snicker to themselves that they're influencing the course of the election/history. But the reality is that many BILLIONAIRES have done that for many years. Look at Bloomberg and his gun control obsession and it's been a big fat ZERO. That will be the case here.

I am so pleased to see that the 'ad hominum' attacks have stopped ,
and that we have returned to intellectual discussion that FreeRepublic has been known for , in the past .

It is not the same thing.
Trump didn’t pull his money from supporting Republicans to support Democrats because a certain candidate lost.
Lie, lie, lie, lie..., that’s all you folks can do.
I mentioned how little you show up here, because you miss a wealthy of information and logic trails.
Then you jump in thinking you’re up to speed, when you aren’t.
You haven’t been paying attention, so you jump in, spout off, and get called on it. And when you display illiteracy on subjects, you blame the folks who have had to address the same inanities for the last ten months.
Some of us are damned tired of the folks who don’t know their -— from a hole in the ground.

Donors are going to donate.
For me, the problem isn’t the giving, it’s the receiving.
When the pols receive, they are bought.
Also, I’d like to believe (although it may not be true) that years ago, there was a far stronger sense of patriotism that was instilled in our young citizens, and that said patriotism would result in an American First ideology.
Somewhere along the line, these pols became so brazenly globalist, it boggles the mind and disheartens the spirit.
Nevertheless, all American’s patriots each need to be doing the max, to instill into their children and grandchildren, as much love of country as possible, while we can.

That’s because there is not a dimes worth of difference between the 3 of them.

Actually, pointing out someone’s lack of being up to speed on the issues, is an intellectual truth.
I’m sorry you can’t grasp that.
