I've got a 5c which I find entirely suitable, so I don't have to worry about TouchID at present. But should I upgrade at some point to a phone with it, it's getting disabled. And if I can't be sure it is, I'll grit-sand the sensor. Just remember the iPhone 5C is the only one they CAN unlock without your cooperation.

Quite so. I fully intend to upgrade my phone prior to any planned nefarious activities.

Just remember the iPhone 5C is the only one they CAN unlock without your cooperation. How long before an app exists that lets you lock the phone entirely with the wrong finger? I know the thumb or forefinger is the easier ones to use but maybe you assign the unlock to a pinky and a self destruct to the forefinger, problem solved.
