Will they unite behind their party's standard-bearer? Will they sit out the 2016 campaign? Or will they fight on, in a quixotic quest to undermine Trump?
Trump's opponents are still sorting through the wreckage of the GOP primary season for a path forward. But it has become painfully clear over the past five days that party unification will be tough to come by, if it happens at all.

There is one question-- have the "Republican leaders" gone mad or are they all in Hillary's pocket?
Otherwise in any rational world they would support the nominee chosen by the people, to defeat the opposition, the Democrats.
It's past time they need to get their act together and support Trump to help him defeat Hillary and have a Republican president. Anything else, such as planning something for the convention would only help Hillary.

As a born and bred southerner from Georgia of multiple generations I can only harken back to “Sherman’s March to the Sea” and the havoc caused and what had necessarily had to come from it.
All these years later, I relish at the havoc, strife and justice coming to the GOPe in this much needed ‘rehabilitation.’

I like how Sarah Palin came out firing at the first big RINO to attempt to undermine Trump.
2016 is RINO season. No bag limit.

The clean out of the rats in the GOP will be hard but they must be kicked out of the party. Isn't it any wonder why the people have been saying that Government is totally out of control. They have not be doing the best for the people but have been lining their pockets. Time to get Trump elected and start the cleanup of the Senate and House.
Trump for President.

I hear Paul Manafort left a brief message w/ Paul Ryan's secretary:

CNN reports that Ryan is (at least presently) opposed to the GOP spinning off a third party.

IIRC those bottom two shots were in (or very similar to) the Bikini Atolls. My poor dad was at Enewetak and when he came home I remember seeing the multiple dosimeters he brought back (search DT60s or variants). He died in 1971 after a very hard career in the AF(Army) dating to 1939 (retired medically in 1964). Cancer.

My condolences to you FRiend, and props to your Dad for his service which was certainly above and beyond what he should have had to endure. My Dad was in the Army during WWII, continued in the Department of the Army afterwards, worked in what is now known as 'ERADCOM' (Electronic Research And Development Command) and I'm virtually certain that his thyroid issues that started up in the early to mid 1960's was due to radiation exposure, i.e., he routinely made trips out to Nevada while there was still open air atomic testing going on and while he never would admit or discuss it, I'm convinced he got zapped sufficiently to cause those problems. He went to be with the Lord in 2007.
Have you ever read the book 'Countdown Zero' by Thomas Saffer and Orville Kelly? It's a pretty good read, and gives a lot of details into how our atomic veterans were mistreated, ignored and treated like radiological fodder.
Here is a bit more information on the book over at 'Conelrad.Com':

Many are becoming irrelevant due to Trump and they fear more than anything that Trump does what he says and shows how corrupt and useless the GOPe are.

Thanks. I never read the book. I was curious about the dosimeters so I investigated them.
I do remember that the VA tried to deny his disability because my mom could not PROVE he was there. During this time, there wasn’t an internet and she (God Bless her) stood up for him and wrote letters, corresponded and networked (the early snail mail kind) and finally obtained a set of squadron military orders that had his name on them.
He ended up 100% disabled because of that. But the VA and government fought my mom all the way.
