Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said on CBS’s “Face the Nation” on Sunday that she always takes “classified material seriously” and that she was not aware of any argument about that.
“I always took classified material seriously,” Clinton said, responding to a question from host John Dickerson about the controversy over her using a private email server for official business when she was secretary of state. “There was never any material marked classified that was sent or received by me. And I look forward to this being wrapped up.”

Who cares if it was ‘marked’ classified.
It WAS classified and she knew it because she instructed her aides to remove the classification headers before copying into the email.

Once more Hillary hides behind the bodyguard of interpretation. She says there were never any emails marked classified. Absolutely true. Classified is not and has never been a security heading. It is simply an all encompassing noun used to identify information. There are only three heading markers; confidential, secret, and top secret. These are routinely grouped as classified information but the heading classified does not exist. So the top secret memos on her server are not headed or marked classified. And one thing Ben Rhodes is right about. The media personalities are far too ignorant and far too dumb to recognize a simple word game.

A statement with no real meaning.
This is a classic word-parsing Clinton lie “There was never any material marked classified that was sent or received by me”.
I never asked my briefers if it was okay to trim off the classification markings at the top and bottom of each page and the start of each paragraph. Hillary is pretending that she asked and then got an answer that no one else would have believed.
And some of the material may be un-marked. If Hillary has a secret conversation with a foreign leader, and wants to e-mail the high points to her staff, she originates secret material.
She knows this.
Secure stuff on non-secure devices, pretty simple. This classification thing is what the progressive/fascists/communists do to confuse the issue.
She’s still talking like politicians talked before Trump came along and exposed it. She will never beat Trump using that Clintonspeak. He will just Chew her up and spit her out.
That's why she used her own server, as opposed to the one at the public library.
In order to understand this statement, it needs to be parsed, as we need to do in all Clinton scandals.
“This is a security review..” What is “this”? Is “this” an FBI probe, an investigation by the State Department IG, or a DoJ investigation?
“...that was requested...” Who requested the “security review”? Hillary herself? The DoJ? The FBI? The State Department? Any number of intelligence organizations? What Federal agency does a “security review”?
“....it is being carried out...” What is “it”? Is “it” a formal investigation? Who is carrying “it” out? Specifically, what Federal agencies or Legislative entities are carrying out something along the lines of a “security review”?
“....it will be resolved....” Again, what is “it”, how will “it” be “resolved”, and what is the final product to demonstrate that “it” is “resolved”? Could “resolved” mean convening a Federal Grand Jury, or selecting a special prosecutor, or going to trial, or getting a conviction, or sentencing someone for a crime?
Where are the so-called investigative reporters who exercise their precious intellectual curiosity? ::::CRICKETS::::

These are rhetorical questions to point out that everything Hillary says needs to be parsed from her legal-speak, couched comments.
This is correct. The content determines the classification, not the markings. The markings are simply a reminder.
Everyone with a clearance has the responsibility to recognize information that should be classified and handle it accordingly: if it's not marked and it should be -- it's their responsibility to "make it so".
Clinton received information from Sid Blumenthal that originated somewhere in the national intelligence agencies, and was instantly recognizable as the most sensitive information of all: something that can reveal methods of gathering intelligence. That's considered SCI, or "sensitive compartmented information". She should have immediately reported it to the FBI, or relevant agency.
But, she instead REPLIED to the email, sending it via unsecured means to an unsecured destination, exposing it to further compromise.
This was apparently only one instance of many. Setting aside the apparent intent to evade the FOIA, one or two instances is an oversight. Repeating it over and over, is gross negligence... especially when you consider that with her other attempts to evade Dept. of State communications security.

Hillary setup a private e-mail server without notifying the State Dept plus paying Bryan Pagliano to do it and redirecting ALL official govt e-mails to her private server.
Thats just one of many illegal issues she is facing on the matter. Judge Napolitano spells it out so nicely in the previous link I posted.

This is horrible parsing and, I believe, in a court of law, would be considered perjurous.
If you take an appropriately marked classified document and simply type the contents into say, and email or attached document to send out on a non-secure system without including the original classification markers, you have committed a crime.
US Code 10: 10 years jail; $10,000 fine.
