It’s a talking point to use with folks that aren’t all that enthusiastic about hillary. The Bushes, Paul Ryan and Romney (etc) preferring a hillary win turns folks against her. They admire Trump for taking down the establishment.

For what its worth, the lack of Bush and Romneys endorsement could be a benefit to Trump.... That's the way I see it. Democrats especially have no love for Bush 43. And a lot of them are disgusted with the stench of Hillary's outright stealing of the nomination.
