“The First Amendment/free speech area by default will be outside of the rented areas, which is the jurisdiction of the City of Eugene for purposes of providing public safety and handling any civil unrest, the county said.”
I did my Saturday shopping today because my little town is going to be a madhouse tomorrow. If I moved my car out of my reserved parking spot, somebody would have it before I got back from the supermarket.
Oh my - that’s so interesting.
When I’m down at my family’s (Mom’s) house, I don’t see butterflies (which she and I both loved) often, but when I do I think it’s her saying hi.
A few years ago, I took my nephew to the Seattle Center and we did various things and saw various exhibits at the Science Center, etc. There is an exhibit that is FULL of butterflies. My nephew and I couldn’t get over how a couple of them landed on my head, face or hand and seemed quite comfortable there. It is a fun and interesting place.
That sounds very smart. Are you going to the rally tomorrow?
My son is there. Says people are driving by, yelling, and flipping off the people in line. He says everyone just laughs.
No. I’m not comfortable in large crowds like that, which is why I’ve never been to a rock concert. The tickets are probably all snapped up anyway.
Good points. From what I’ve observed of Cheney, he is a very thoughtful, deliberative man; and, like you said, I think he studied and observed and decided Trump was someone he could vote for and get behind.
a little less than an hour until the next rally :-)
Hope Nebraska shows up BIG TIME for Mr. T!
He can’t choose a Dem for VP, at least not before the convention.
He’ll be ousted, voters or no voters.
When he and Lieberman appeared on Larry King, it was obvious that these two men were friends and had been on the same side on many, if not most, issues. But their parties demanded that they be there, and this was business.
It was enjoyable watching each man get in a few good natured zings at the other. By the time the "debate" was over, I could imagine both men going out for a beer afterward.
It disgusts me to read on social media the vitriol from the left..part class envy, part ignorance. They repeat the same mantras from the media and detractors, with their “I am the only messenger of the truth” tone. They do not bother to do any research or read anything else from what comes out of Daily Kos, Democrat Underground etc. Thank God for FR and our Trump Family threads. Huge (((Group hug)))).
Our public schools have taught people to parrot answers rather than to think for themselves. It’s a.product of standardized testing and teaching for the test.
Keep us posted.
Thank you for continuing to post these threads!
Paul Nehlun WI opponent to Ryan has made a public statement that he would support Trump.
Yea!!!
I like Dick Cheney... I read somewhere he fishes a lot with ex-military men who are having medical issues.
Hunts with them too?
We were having our house built. The person doing the tile work in the master bathroom was complaining about the floor not be level and other problems as well. My wife went to the foreman and passed on the tile person’s complaints. The forman said “Don’t pay any attention to him; you should have seen him when he was really drinking.”
It turns out the tile person was right!
! was just trying to figure out how Trump will make the Eugene rally on time. He picks up two hours in time zones. If he takes an hour at the Omaha rally that leaves him four hours to leave Omaha (get to his plane)and arrive at the convention center in Eugene. Seems mighty tight to me.
I REALLY LIKE Nehlun, GALD he has come to his senses!!! I believe the WIN for Cruz in Wisconsin was GOPe shenanigans !!!! I sent Ryans opponent a donation this AM!!! LOVED HIS AD!!!! Another ALPHA MALE!!! I am READY to RID OURSELVES of these SPINLESS PANSIES!!! LYIN RYAN’S district was WON by Trump!!! GO HEHLUN!!!! KICK SOME BUTT!!!!
