Democrat pollster Doug Schoen told Americas Newsroom that Hillary Clinton blew $4 million to study how to defeat Donald Trump. She still has no clue on how to handle Trump and is terrified.
Doug Schoen: Bill, you reported before that she spent $4 million on research. Thats what I do for a living. I dont have a sense that shes figured out with all that money spent how to approach and how to handle Donald Trump. And I think Trump is right, low road, high road Trump can win
If you spent four million dollars to try to figure out how to deal with a problem and you dont have an answer that leads to terror and ineptness.
Yeah, like Abbott promised to seal the border?
Don’t discount Gregg Abbott.
Why has he not kept his promises and kept the criminal invaders from flooding over our border?
I agree that Hillary will NEVER be president...but can Trump defeat her replacement in November?
Makes me think of a Tom T. Hall song about a cowboy philosopher...
What is interesting is that Trump tore up the old Presidential Playbook on running a national campaign. He ran a lean campaign without the K Street Consultants, who are worthless, and he won.
Hillary on the other hand is still running a classic set piece campaign with a HQ that employs well over 800 people. I wonder what they all do? She employs all the polling firms and every consultant from K Street to advise and tell her what to do along with the vaunted War Room they had back in the 1992 Bill Clinton campaign.
Trump will continue to run a lean operation that will be able to pivot and move quickly rather Hillary in what is a cumbersome operation suited to a time before the Internet, Cell Phones, and Social Media. Hillary and her campaign have yet to master social media and handling the rapid fire Donald Trump.
In addition as we have seen Trump, after more than 60,000 Negative attack ads, still won and won over the voters. The classic 15 and 30 second negative attack ads don’t work any more, at least on Trump, so if that is part of Hillary’s strategy I don’t think it will work at all.
Indeed her stamina may be that she is unable to do what Trump does and she is boring, predictable, and uninspiring to listen to.
Trump will continue to get the crowds and promote his message. I think he already has Hillary psyched out to a degree and it will get worse and she will have to respond and campaign rather than depend on her surrogates like Bill to do her fighting for her. Either she engages, ala Margaret Thatcher, or she will be seen for the total fraud she is.
I don’t get it either. Prohibitive favorites aren’t usually terrified of the underdog.
Trump definitely has a chance to beat her, but it isn’t going to be a cakewalk by any stretch.
“I agree that Hillary will NEVER be president...but can Trump defeat her replacement in November?”
Remember, the Democrat party has the exact same problem the GOPe has: a nominee they didn’t want but are totally stuck with.
After Clinton and Sanders win all those votes and all those delegates, they can’t just trot someone else out as the nominee.
Half the Dem voters that voted in the primaries would bail and vote for Trump just to make a point.
I think Trump will face Hillary unless she gets indicted or drops out for health reasons, in which case it will be Bernie.
The only challange for Trump is if they come up with someone amazing for the VP spot, and I can’t think who that would be.
No, I’m starting to think Trump will actually be sitting in the Oval Office come January, and I sure hope he fires a sh!tload of people on his first day.
Who would that be?
I preferred Old Dogs And Children And Watermelon Wine.
Probably Biden or Warren.
Don’t worry about that...Trump will look each of the 1,000 or so White House staffers in the eye...and within 5 seconds 80% will be out the door. The 20% left (i.e., the straight ones) will understand that they BETTER BEHAVE.
The usual ‘rat playbook of demonizing the opponent usually works only when the opponent is essentially a blank canvas on which they can paint whatever grotesque portrait they want - Trump’s been in the public eye for forty years, including how many on TV and in print with all his books - “racist”, “sexist”, “greedy” and all the rest are going to fall on eyes and ears that have already been pretty much made up during this cycle, and it’ll be a long, sad slog for Hillary and her henchmen.....
Both Governor Perry and Governor Gregg Abbott have made efforts to cut the flow of illegals into Texas from Mexico.
They both did so in defiance of Obama’s agenda. It is one thing to arrest them. Quite another thing to deport them back to Mexico or wherever they are from in South America.
ICE has been instructed to not arrest them.
Obama has threatened to cut in half our Federal funding supporting the protection of the Texas border with Mexico. Texas has increased the spending by the state to address this, but until Obama is gone, it will not stop. It is part of his agenda.
I personally like Gregg Abbott and think he is doing a good job as Governor. Because of the collapse in the oil market, he is inheriting a mess. It will cut state revenue greatly.
Because Dukakis.
Yeah. Right.
Perry and Abbott are both anti-illegals.
They have done NOTHING to secure the border.
It’s getting to be almost rare to see a non-Hispanic on the street anymore.
These RINOs have let Mexico reclaim Texas.
The sacrifices of the heroes of the Alamo, it appears, was all in vain.
The housing project for seniors, where my grandfather lives is 99% Hispanic. Most all are on section 8.
He applied for Section 8, but there are (he was told) about
2,000 applicants already waiting and the ‘Section 8’ is closed.
They take $500.00 per month of his $1,000 SS. (and no, there is nowhere else for him to go. Rent is all about the same around here)
By the time my grandfather (who served our country, worked hard all his life and has never even thought about welfare) pays utilities and supplement insurance, he has almost nothing left- while the section 8 welfare queens pay as little as $120.00 per month.
And yes, I am angry and bitter over this situation.
