Former House Majority Leader Eric Cantor admitted Tuesday that he underestimated Donald Trump as a presidential candidate. “I was predicting way back when that Donald Trump had no chance. I think many of us were,” Cantor said on Tuesday in an interview with CNBC. “I’ve stopped the business of predicting.”

Eric Cantor underestimated David Brat way before he misunderesitameted Donald John Trump. He better stick to pimpin’ on K Street while that gig lasts.
His underestimating of Trump began with his underestimating the level of frustration that conservatives have with the republican party.
One would think his own election loss would have been the first signal of Trump. He underestimated ‘we the people’.

Cantor and the rest of the GOPe vastly underestimated how much anger they stirred up among reliable GOP voters over the years by repeatedly running their bait & switch scam. If Trump can’t clean house in the party leadership, we may as well look to starting another party. The GOP, as it was on the eve of 2016 race, is graveyard dead.
