With Cruz’s graceful bowing out, the fat lady is spraying her throat in preparation to do a little singing - time to unite in the effort to stop Hillary...

...time to unite in the effort to stop Hillary...Absolutely agree! But, there's going to be some hurt feelings for awhile, before everyone comes to their senses.
Watched FreeRepublic on Facebook last night and a number of (so called) Cruz Freepers saying they'd rather vote for Hillary than get behind Trump. Sad...
What I really don't want to see is people staying home, like they did for Romney, and get Hillary elected.

Trump says that crafting an Israeli-Palestinian peace deal is going to be tough. I think crafting a Trump supporters-Cruz supporters peace deal may be even tougher.

Watched FreeRepublic on Facebook last night and a number of (so called) Cruz Freepers saying they'd rather vote for Hillary than get behind Trump. Sad...Yep - what's even sadder, is that I have been slapped at by a Trump supporter who misinterpreted my call to stop the senseless mud slinging as indication I'm upset that Cruz got beat.
Explained it in-depth and got the same insane response - at least he's for the right guy - just stupid or comprehension-challenged...

We can still believe that the candidate we supported was the best and still vote for whoever the nominee is. Most on both side already agreed to do that. We must stop Hillary or Sanders because we love America.

I completely understand the team spirit that orbits around someone as amazing as Senator Ted Cruz. He may well become this centurys William F. Buckley and more.I agree - he has a chance to be a true statesman and hopefully open the door wide for a post-Trump Cruz Presidency.

number of (so called) Cruz Freepers saying they'd rather vote for Hillary than get behind Trump. Sad...Such stupid people are the reason why the country is in such a mess. But they could be GOPe types letting their true feelings show. The GOPe would rather lose to Hillary or any democrat than win with someone not in their little club.

We must stop Hillary or Sanders because we love America. >Well said. I started out Cruz/Trump and donated $500+ to Cruz before it became obvious to me that Trump was the likeliest candidate who would require a more unified front backing him.
Despite Cruz turning me way off in recent times, I would have gladly voted for him even if I was miffed about how he managed the nomination - Hillary is the enemy we MUST stop.....
PS, I am not a "monthly donor" to FR but I do donate monthly - I used to piggy-back it with a donation to Cruz and now do so with Trump...

Right. After Trump finishes his term, Cruz might run in the future and be better prepared.
