Four people were killed and at least six others were wounded in shootings Monday across Chicago.
A teenage boy was killed and another was wounded in a West Englewood neighborhood shooting on the South Side.
The two teens, ages 14 and 15, were walking east in an alley in the 7100 block of South Laflin about 9:35 p.m. when a male walked up and shot them.
About three hours earlier, a 14-year-old boy was gunned down in the Back of the Yards neighborhood on the South Side.
Earlier Monday, a 21-year-old woman was shot to death in the Edgewater neighborhood on the North Side. The woman was shot in the head. A police source said the male sitting in the vehicle's passenger seat is a documented gang member. He was not injured in the shooting.

When reading about killings in Chicago, my mind conjures up Tombstone.
Will the movie goers of 2059 be viewing the wild midwest flics portraying the events in Chicago in 2016? Is there a Doc Watson in Chicago?
Does the local Chicago news stations report these murders or is it a total media blackout?
No whiteys to blame, so this will not be in the evening news.
Just think, it was only Monday...The weather is getting nicer and the weekend looks to be really nice. Get out the BBQ and the uzi’s
Only when the murders are more than the runs scored by the Cubs and White Sox. Double digit murders get a half price pepperoni pizza at Papa Johns!
The shootings in the entire story of Tombstone are matched if not outdone by a single heavy weekend in Chi-town.
So “Rev” Sharpton, what say ye? Nothing? Jesse? Barack? Anyone? Maybe a beer summit would be in order with the “stupid” police and gun toting gangsters?
You need a bigger sign and add: Memphis, Birmingham, Jackson, Atlanta, New Orleans, Houston, Compton, Oakland, Little Rock, Pine Bluff, Kansas City, Fergeson, East Saint Louis, Gary, and everywhere else these “gibbmedats” breed.
Sorry, my “give a $h!t o’ meter” must be broke; it didn’t even register. Betcha all involved had some gang affiliation. Monkeys killing monkeys, thugs killing thugs. Hope they keep it up, less thugs to deal with.
