Here in Maine, all patients are given those “do not resuscitate” forms. You have to sign “yes” or “no.”

Yes. I put the NHS into the keywords. I also put Obamacare (sadly misspelled) in the keywords as this is what’s coming. When the Government controls your healthcare.....the Government controls how much and how long you will get healthcare.

I have a DNR and I consulted with no one in my family. I had a doc argue with me about my decision. I told him o understood exactly what I had signed and what it provided for. It is specific and detailed.

I don’t want someone else contriving my decision

My husband is in the hospital right now. He’s been waiting in the ER for about 12 hours for either a room or a transfer to a rehab hospital. Thank God for good people. It could be much worse.
