People who hate America hate the phrase America First.
There’s nothing wrong with “America First”—it makes a great bumper sticker. But America will not be first with any president who consents to abortion (and insists that the GOP stop defending unborn children conceived in rape or incest) and to sexual perversion, among other things. God will not be mocked.
Because America Last hasn’t been working out too well for it’s inhabitants.
Help me out... where is the controversy about “America First?” Did some jack-ass criticize Trump, again?

That’s the long and short of it.
There is nothing wrong with putting America First however some are trying to tie the phrase into the the long gone America First movement. It’s an interesting subject if anyone cares to research it.

Yes, the squawking started within hours of Trump using the “America First” language. The ADL, among others, found the term “offensive” and asked him to change it.
My suggested change:
America First, Second, and Third!
Screw this PC nonsense. If people don’t want our country first, they need to reevaluate their loyalties, and we theirs. This is ridiculous. I am an American. I want my country’s interests, and its constitution, to be the first and foremost consideration of any elected official. If not our interests first, then whose? Political Correctness is killing us, and not just figuratively.
They’re equating what Trump says to Hitler.

God will judge each and every person making up the country not just the one who is put in Presidential position through proper or improper means.
And America first can happen even with an ungodly person in office, if the people continue to do right by God. God is supreme, not decisions by people in authority!
Bugs me so many people put so much emphasis on will God bless us because of who is president, when we have huge power ourselves as a people and individuals of this country and more importantly each and everyone of us in the eyes of God.

I remember reading newspaper editorials in liberal metropolitan newspapers (the Boston Globe foremost among them) denigrating that very concept, using those very words.
Always approached from a standpoint of moral superiority, the press viewed and promoted it as a cultural apostasy, a form of political leprosy best avoided by the general populace if they ever wanted to be taken seriously.
That being said, they actually meant being taken seriously by them!
I don't ever recall reading a good argument for embracing such a stand, but, as I've learned over the years, promoting logical arguments is not really the Left's strong point.

How does that disprove (or even address) my point? Of *course*, God will judge Trump (or Cruz, or Hillary, or whomever)... but if we, as a country, decide to give our consent to the murder of children conceived in rape or incest, and if we nod our approval at deconstructing all sanity with regard to sexual reality (i.e. who's a man, who's a woman, etc.), and if we shrug our shoulders at sexual perversion becoming the law of the land, then we shouldn't expect God to save our nation from itself. Ancient Greece and Rome fell in very much the same way; why is "America" so much better?
America was great precisely because it was one nation, under God. Remove the last part, and who will save us when we fall? Why should God save America if America would rather that God go away?
And America first can happen even with an ungodly person in office, if the people continue to do right by God.
"America first" is meaningless, if "America" turns into an ungodly, demonic mess. If America embraces and tolerates murder and perversion and abuse of the most innocent, then America doesn't DESERVE to survive, much less "be first" (whatever that means). Read your Bible, especially from the Old Testament, and see how "Israel First" worked out for them; Israel was the world superpower, and they turned for God, and... BANG. Destruction and exile.

That's precisely why I'm saying what I've said. If Trump, for example, says to allow the murders of children conceived in rape, and you don't object, then you will have to render an account of that evil choice before God. It's one thing to vote for Trump as the lesser of many evils; but those who genuinely applaud Trump and try to defend and excuse his horrible, amoral choices are on dangerous ground.
