Why yes, have you had your head in your shell? lol Trump's foreign policy is like that of Nazi Germany's now. Dangerous. Nationalist. Based on hate of "others". Didn't you know? We are the master race now apparently.

The "America First" meme has been around since at least the late '60's.

I remember reading newspaper editorials in liberal metropolitan newspapers (the Boston Globe foremost among them) denigrating that very concept, using those very words.

Always approached from a standpoint of moral superiority, the press viewed and promoted it as a cultural apostasy, a form of political leprosy best avoided by the general populace if they ever wanted to be taken seriously.

That being said, they actually meant being taken seriously by them!

I don't ever recall reading a good argument for embracing such a stand, but, as I've learned over the years, promoting logical arguments is not really the Left's strong point.

Indeed, on this they have no point!
