Off the rails.
Hope he doesn’t take too many of his supporters with him.

that we will not give into evil but we will remember who we are and we will stand for our values, Cruz said at a rally in La Porte, Indiana.
From my experience in politics when candidates starts saying things like this they have internal polling showing them losing.

Just think had Trump not entered the race...We (I) could have been duped into supporting this maniacal loser...And we would never have known he was GOPe before it was too late...

The contrast in demeanor has become stark of late. Trump is projecting confidence and is upbeat, and his crowds are clearly with him all the way. Cruz seems to go into "tent revival preacher" mode with his every appearance, castigating his (dwindling) crowds for their failings in not supporting him.
It reeks of desperation and is a sure turn-off to most Americans. He's done.

A person is not evil.
Thoughts, motives, can be influenced by evil and lead to horrible choices and actions.
Cruz campaign has demonstrated this often recently.
Fitting He should speak against himself.

If Scruz says this in California, and it gets on social media, he will lose even worse than he is predicted to.

Once, back when he was opposing ObamaCare in the Senate, I liked Cruz. Stuff like this has turned me against him.
Now? I'll vote for whoever opposes Hillary. I still am suspicious of Trump, but I'd vote for Daffy Duck over Hillary.
Attack me if you like, Trumpsters, for my supposed "support of a contested convention" (eyeroll). As if I care who wins at a convention of politicians. Yes, Trump is a politician, sorry to break it to some of you.

OK, I will state categorically that if Trump were to have said this “not give in to evil,” I would not vote for him, period.
I have said all along that I would vote for Cruz if he were the candidate, but this is a stopper. We don’t need and unhinged person in the WH. There is something wrong inside Ted’s head.
