Santa Clara County has fired the doctor in charge of its Center for Child Protection and another pediatrician for allegedly failing to report egregious abuse of a toddler whose mother's boyfriend has since been charged with his murder, the Mercury News has learned.
Just six months before the 2-year-old boy was found dead in mid-January, both of his arms had been broken, multiple sources familiar with the investigation said. Yet even though medical personnel suspected the injuries were not accidental, as the mother said, the incident was never reported by the doctors to Child Protective Services, as required by law.

The mother’s boyfriend, of course.
No way, gimme a bag of salt and some oyster shells, I’d take care of him out in the desert...
The mother said he fell when he was treated for his broken arms; she is an accomplice.
I don’t see any indication that the boyfriend was the father of the child (these stories rarely even mention biological fathers anymore); if he wasn’t this is just another case of “baboon infanticide”. Basically when a new alpha male unseats the existing one, he has to kill the young baboons sired by his predecessor because the females won’t be in heat while raising them. I’ve watched footage of this, and it is creepy; the mothers know it is coming, and the more diligent are able to fend off the attacks for a day or two, but in the end all of the children are dead. When the mothers let down their guards for SECONDS, the male pounces and quickly kills the young ones.
Very common with America’s feral populations...
That motivation should have nothing to do with humans though.
I just think this guy was a sick prick from the get go. The article did state that the boyfriend was known to police by virtue of him being an abuse victim. He obviously was left in that situation, or if removed continued receiving abuse.
Either way the boyfriend chose to continue the cycle of abuse. Which also means he was probably very abusive to her as well. It is well known that the majority of females who face severe abuse become extremely submissive.
How to break these cycles of abuse must be found, but how to do so and still maintain freedoms? It truly is a human tragedy, and this is yet another example of the results of that tragedy. At the same time both the boyfriend and mother are also examples of that tragedy. So now we are faced with dealing out punishment to victims of abuse, for the ultimate result of abuse, death, and in this instance, to a child. Of course we all want them to endure the severest of punishments, when their victim is a child.
So it becomes up to society as to how this is to be handled, which of course creates a problem when the different ideas are raised. Problem is none of the ideas that we have followed have produced the desired results, that being the end of abuse, and the end of senseless tragedy.
It comes into play with humans because rather than wanting the females’ attention to breed, they simply want the females’ attention - and the previous males’ children are just a distraction.
It comes into play with sub-humans perhaps. Real men are not intimidated by children sired by another man before the woman became their love interest. He takes them in as his own to nurture. But I understand what you are saying, this man is an animal, and with that assessment I agree.
I watched a feral male cat killed our momma cats kittens in the same way, so it does happen with other species right in our backyards. I ran out and was able to save a couple of the kittens.
I meant to include you. Read #27.
With humans it isn’t even about “another man”; the kids are just an inconvenience.
I can definitely believe that; the film I saw about baboons was 25 years ago.
I assume the feral male cat was responding like the baboon for the same reasons perhaps.
I’ll agree, but only when with some humans is the verbiage used. Many humans would not engage in this kind of savagery. Either that or I am being too optimistic that most humans share my sense of right and wrong.
Just remembered something funny. One Easter morning I went into the kitchen and found 2 rabbits and there were eggs all over the floor. Mom said they were Easter bunnies and we then dyed the eggs and she hid them in the yard. For years I had the idea that rabbits laid eggs. Then all of a sudden one day I thought “that is stupid, they don't!” LOL!
I remember my dad telling me one time that thunder was caused by two clouds colliding. I believed that for the longest time.
Never was sure if my dad actually believed that or was pulling my leg, and now I no longer can ask him and never thought to ask him when I could.
I just assume he was pulling my leg. Because as I got older the smarter my dad became.
Thus I conclude, rightly or wrongly, he must have know it was lightning that creates thunder from the sudden increase in pressure and temperature from lightning which produces rapid expansion of the air surrounding and within a bolt of lightning
My dad could be the jokester at times, even to my expense of being embarrassed, LOL. He was a great dad though.
Maybe mixing up events? John and Ken talked about a boy who died and they are planning to charge the CPS workers on that case.
If I come across that link I will post it here so I can clarify my mistake.
My mistake different case.

(misspelling is deliberate)
LOL, well we all are morans at some point in time of our lives. You just got your out of the way early, while I still am a moran at times to this day.
