Speculation abounds as Fox News talking head Andrea Tantaros is no longer appearing on air.
In response to a query from TV Newser, Fox issued a terse statement:
“Issues have arisen regarding Andrea’s contract, and Fox News Channel has determined it best that she take some time off. She is still under contract with the network.”
That opens the question of what could have changed regarding her contract all of a sudden.
The Examiner opens a few doors on what might (or might not) be at issue with Tantaros and the network:
While not cited by FNC as a reason for her extended vacation, Tantaros recently claimed during a taping of Outnumbered that certain GOP Establishment-types were coming down hard on her for supporting Donald Trump; "Specifically, Charles Cooke, who is a writer for National Review, he tweeted out that I should give my job to somebody else. Also, a meme by Kevin Williamson of National Review trying to make me seem stupid. I should give up my job according to men in the Republican Party."
In the midst of the Obama Administration's less-than-kosher investigations of certain journalists, Tantaros held little back.
As cited by the NewsHounds.us weblog, while on the air, Tantaros stated quite plainly, "This is Obama’s America. It’s like the Soviet Union. He said he’d change the country. He said it, he said it, he said it, and a lot of people voted for him. And if you see any of those people today, do me a favor, punch 'em in the face. We’ll be right back."

Andrea Tantaros is aces!!! She is one of the best that Fox News Channel has left. Actually, I thing FNC should team her up with Greta, O’Reilly or, Hannity...or, give her her own show. IMHO.....I immediately would cancel the “The Five”....it stinks. Greg Gutfield ranks as a moron, Dana Perino is braindead...having kissed the Bush elitists, you know where. Juan Williams is not in the world of reality......etc. KImberly is outnumbered by the morons....the show is failing miserably!!! I really have noo use for any of them on “The Five”!!!

I know she is half Chinese, lol! I still think they look amazingly alike.
I personally have a sister that you would swear was the spitting image of Jasmine from the Disney “Aladdin” movie even though one is an animation and the other is not. Really. Another relative looks astoundingly like Pia Zadora if anyone remembers who she is.
You would be surprised just how many resemblances there are out there. Personally, I have been told by another FReeper that he did a double-take when he saw a personal pic I posted and said he thought he was looking in a mirror for a moment.
And no, our ancestries were not at all close. *smile*

I did a search, but I can’t find anything about her mother being Italian, and I always heard her say that both her parents were Greek immigrants.
she had come from the working class of America. So, she must go!
She did.her parents owned a restaurant and she worked there doing all the different jobs as she was growing up. She is a very hard working solid American of Greek extraction. Second generation, I believe.
Fox doesn’t like smart, assertive true conservative women. I saw Michelle Malkin completely underdress Juan Williams on Fox a couple years back. Within a nanosecond she was no longer a Fox News Contributor. She was brutal on Juan, deserving and thoroughly enjoyable to watch. I miss her a lot.
