Looks like the Trump ground game team gets up to speed rather quickly...ping.
Ted....Gotcha...said Mr. Trump
Trump is fast learner.
Haha. And the Cruz story was that he won CO because he had a great strategy. LOL.
Trump really didn’t have to do much with that. All he had to do, is put a volunteer at the entrance of each voting hall and hand out a list of his delegates. He was not really afforded this opportunity in Colorado with their overly complicated process.
If Cruz won't quit NOW then Cruz will be the most hated individual of all time.
Cruz is not even an American.
Trump won every county in all 5 states on Tuesday. If you look at the election maps, you’ll see that Trump carried every county in Alabama as well, and every county in NY. Trump only lost one county in SC, one in FL, and 3 in Georgia. This is almost unheard of.
Take a look at the election maps for wins by other candidates, dems as well as republicans. Cruz won WI by taking the population centers, and the counties around them, but Trump won the majority of the counties. Hillary won big in NY by taking NY City, Rochester, Syracuse and Buffalo, Sanders won everything else.
To win every county in several states, and lose only one or two in several others, must indicate that Trump has a much more highly developed “ground game” than anyone knows about, results like that aren’t by luck or guess.
My guess is that Trump has a much more developed “ground game” than anyone knows about or gives him credit for.
Does that mean that the rules are stacked against Cruz now - or that now Trump is cheating?
.... wait ....
Trump did not want to win states that delegates were selected not elected. If he had participated to any degree he could not have legitimately brought the issue forward and insist on solving the problem He chose to step away from the table Now the negotiations begin
At my polling place in a small town not far from Pittsburgh, PA there was no one standing outside the poll for ANY candidate, which was unusual. However, I DID see people walking in with a postcard in hand that let them know which delegates were for Trump or Cruz. There was a list of about 20 delegates to choose from and about a half dozen were supporting Trump. Only two, a husband and wife team, were supporting Cruz. Voting was heavier than usual and many more first time voters than usual in a primary.
Trump yard signs outnumber Cruz, Hillary or Bernie signs about 10 to one within a half hour drive of where I live.
I wouldn’t give the credit to Trump’s new organizational skills, I give credit to his message and his supporters.
Sounds like Trump not only bought the lemonade delegate stands in PA, he refused to serve Scruz and his delegate scavengers.
Them’s the rules Cruzers! Hardeharhar!
Yes he did, and the evidence is showing.
CNN is showing Trump with 52 total delegates likely in PA (and it is likely that that number will go higher, probably over 60 before all is said and done and once they vote at the convention):
http://edition.cnn.com/election/primaries/states/pa/Rep
Current delegate count according to them, and I have found them to be fairly accurate is:
Trump: 991
Cruz: 568
Kasich: 154
http://edition.cnn.com/election/
I expect Trump will go well over the top (probably by 60 or more delegates at this point), on June 7th.
I say all of this as one who diligently supported Cruz. But the truth on the ground is what it is.
Now, if Cruz is interested in the GOP nominee (without any e) winning in November, then he needs to concede next week after Trump (in all likelihood) takes Indiana.
I pray to God that is what he will do. He has the power to:
1) Unite the party by so doing.
2) Deliver a huge blow to the GOPe by so doing.
3) Set up for a big GOP November win.
My Open Letter to Ted Cruz

This article acts like it is inscrutable how Trump won these delegates. Corey and the local organization in the state recruited Trump supporters to run as delegates ages ago. On top of that Trump’s website listed the “Trump slate” of delegates that the campaign wanted people to vote for, so it wasn’t really that hard to find (not to mention Hannity publishing a list of how the delegates would vote and other websites also carrying that information). Trump even mentioned the delegates and held up the list at his two final PA rallies. There were some reports on TV of volunteers handing out delegate lists in front of some precincts’ polling places too.
Almost takes your breath away~
Cruz expected 30, picked up 2; but, hey, he now has a running mate!!!
The Donald is a quick learner.
Go Trump !
Oh my, does that mean we get to call Trump .. “Lyin’ Trump” .. because he’s now doing what Cruz was doing in the states .. and that’s when Trump called Cruz “Lyin’ Ted”.
I wonder if Trump is surprised that so far Ted has not called him Lyin’ Trump ..??
I think Trump owes Ted an apology.
If Cruz had an American bone in his body, he would quit.
But I guess that’s a might big If.
