Cruz's decision Wednesday to add former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina (and one-time GOP presidential candidate herself) as his running mate if he wins the nomination, may make his newly found H-1B beliefs a hard sell.

At HP, Fiorina was a prominent supporter of the offshore outsourcing model, said Ron Hira, an associate professor of public policy at Howard University, who wrote about Fiorina's approaches in his book, Outsourcing America.

"To pump up profits, she was an early adopter of the practice, which given HP's status as a leading Silicon Valley firm, pushed other firms to adopt offshoring," said Hira. "It set a precedent that technology firms would now pursue profits through offshoring and that meant that Wall Street would hound executives in other firms to do the same."

As offshoring gained, Fiorina played a leading role in defending globalization.

To make her point, in 2004, Fiorina said: "There is no job that is America's God-given right anymore," reported the San Francisco Chronicle.

When Ingraham brought up Disney's layoff of 200 to 300 IT employees last year, some of whom had to train their visa-hold replacements, Fiorina said "shame on them (Disney) -- we should never support that kind of policy."

The media barely mentioned that Trump won the nomination last night with the historic shellacking of Cruz ,going over 60% , and the margin of victory and Cruz below 15% . This should be the top story today not “cruz picks fiorina as Vp”. The sweep at 60%, and Cruz’s below 15% has to end it for cruz , a knockout , and forced cruz to drop out now , last night but instead he is picking a vp? what?

This is over so he can’t do something like pick a vp . it’s absurd but that is the top story? and no one is talking about that it is over , that Trump is the nominee because of the margin of victory is so great ass to distinguish Trump as the nominee and diminish Cruz as a loser. all everyone is talking about is fiorina. But the New York victory didn’t really hit people for 2 or 3 days anyway.

It boils down to “Cruz cannot win.”

Yeah Cruz made his vp pick today so the media wouldn't talk about Trump’s huge victory to day and how huge it was , the great margin of victory , the 60% etc.. The media gave the carly vp pick 1000 times more air time today than Trump's victory cause that victory would have shown that it is over that CRuz is finished.The media briefly mentioned Trump's historic victory only in the early morning , not in the afternoon nor evening.

I hope they do start talking about the victory again as it should be talked about every day until the next primaries to affect those. it's over , cruz is exterminated but he picks a vp as if he were still in the race. it's absurd, ridiculous and that's all the media is talking about fiorin as cruz’s vp pick. CRuz can't do a vp pick because he was disentegrated last night by Trump's huge victory sweep of 60% , 15% means Cruz is done, over, must drop out not pick a damm vp .

The media are dis-tractors. That is how the media affects and controls elections. If the media would have given Trump’s historic victory the air time it deserved then the following primaries would have been up 20 percentage points higher for trump.

the media affects the numbers at least that much. all the media talked about was cruz’s vp pick of fiorina. but he can't make a vp pick because that huge victory knocked cruz out and won the nomination last night for TRump.

The Cruz/Heidi Campaign are in a real hurry-up offense prior to their impending defeat, but Carly has her own problems and TRUMP surrogates need to take her on, and leave Trump to do policy and to take swings at the Obama-Clinton catastrophes.
