I’m curious The first and second temples didn’t have to wait for to descend from Heaven. G-d gave instruction and his people did the constructing. Is there any explanation given for the idea that the third temple will arrive all pre- assembled from Heaven? Has G-d joined the Mason’s Union all of a sudden? This sounds more like the quite- natural dreams and a way of keeping the flame , hope alive by people both dispossessed and powerless to act Now that G-d has seen fit to honor His promises at least to the extent of restoring a major part of His people to their Promised Land, why would He not continue via the same building methods He’s always used — the human hands of the faithful ? Just asking, not arguing. The only way I learn is to ask. Is there any explanation ? I realize His ways are not our ways and that we cannot expect to understand everything He does, but asking questions is still acceptable so - I respectfully ask. Thank you very much

Imagine the smell of burning flesh of sacrificial lambs or other once alive offerings. The smells, the sounds, the rituals. Imagine such things going on for 7 days each week, every week. That is what occurred regularly, for centuries, in Jerusalem, with some interruptions, but still, for hundreds of years altogether.
Imagine the bureaucracy which might be required to manage such an enterprise.
