Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump is coming to Costa Mesa for a 7 p.m. rally Thursday at the OC Fair & Events Center, according to his campaign.
The first Orange County visit by Trump since entering the race comes as he gears up for California's June 7 primary, which could determine whether he reaches the 1,237 delegates needed to secure the GOP nomination in advance of the Republican National Convention in July.

“Actually, 757s fly in and out of John Wayne (SNA) daily.”
That will make the trip to the fairgrounds a lot easier. He will likely disembark on the Redhill side of the airport. A total of five minutes.
Sounds good to me. I used to live there.
Thanks hoosiermama! Orange County is way south, we’re closer to north. Hope the Donald will come our way soon.
“Ok the OC fairgound are just down the road from me..do i need tickets or just show up?””
Used to live in Costa Mesa and if you’re close enough and the sound system is working, you could sit on your porch and catch it! But perhaps that was just for concerts - those could get pretty loud!!!
I have my tix from Donald’s website, under https://www.donaldjtrump.com/schedule/
Let me know what other freepers will also be there.
I hear you don’t need to print out the tickets, they can be on the phone.
What is the food situation at these things, they last alllll say so people must get hungry.
There is an excellent air museum at the airport that includes many vintage World War II aircraft, plus some World War II vehicles as well. Vintage autos, I G, and that oddball German vehicle that’s half motorcycle half track. There’s also an interesting wedding gown made of a World War II parachute on display. Something for everybody.
It would be quite a drive from the LB Airport on the 405 /
Bumping to find other freepers going.
It’s called the Lyon Air Museum and it is located on the Redhill side of the airport. It has a flyable B-17 and B-25.

I live about 3 miles from JWA and about 5 miles from the airport. It was reported in earlier posts that 757s are allowed at JWA.
LB isn’t that far away in case Trump campaign decides to fly there considering he gets a police escort anywhere he goes, about 20 minutes.
Yup that’s it. I’ve been there twice!
I’d recommend getting tickets from what I’ve read of those that have attended other rallies. I’d also suggest getting there well before the doors open - always long lines at all the rallies and sometimes people don’t get in.
Have fun!
