These are the results of the Maryland primary. Trump won overwhelmingly. He won every county and every voter segment. He won the very conservative convincingly. He won women overwhelmingly. He won the City of Baltimore convincingly.

If you look at the internals Trump voters overwhelmingly backed Trump. Kasich voters and to a lesser extent Cruz voters were less likely to have voted to support their candidate and more likely to have voted because they oppose another candidate.

I expected this.

Trump is extremely popular.

We are seeing the bandwagon effect kicking in. I wouldn’t be surprised if Trump takes all the remaining primaries with over 50 percent. People instinctively know that an open or brokered convention would be complete chaos, and only benefit Hillary Clinton. Most people also want to vote for a winner. Trump has now swept the last 6 primaries, picking up well over 200 delegates, while Cruz is busy making backroom deals or is that bathroom deals, to try and pry away some of Trump’s delegates in hope of getting to a 2nd ballot.

A patriot, and honest man would concede, and get out of the way. Unfortunately, Cruz has been exposed as a dishonest man who is in it for himself, and what the establishment will give him as a reward for doing their dirty work. Kasich is in it to avoid having to do the job the people of OH voted for him to do, or maybe in hopes of being the VP.

KSick is particularly disturbing. To some degree, it was voter sanity that prevailed yesterday. With the anger and inflamed passions in the US, a brokered convention would high-probability cause unimaginable chaos and destruction. Voters on the whole understand that only the elite benefit from that.

KSick is Governor of OH, for heaven's sake. He's willing to put a city in his own state in that situation? Guidance is needed from the state level to coordinate and plan, because the convention impact reaches far beyond Cleveland's borders.
