Unbelievable. Rush just pitched Cruz as the quintessential anti establishment candidate. Cruz is OWNED by the GOPE and Rush is well aware of that fact. Mitt Romney and team Jeb Bush are now in control of the Cruz campaign. If Cruz is anti establishment then Cruz is running against himself. Rush is in full Cruz defense mode and trying to build up Cruz by going over the Cruz planning for this campaign as an underdog fighting the establishment. He does not mention that Cruz is a junior, first term senator, whose only life job experience is as a smart attorney in the employ of the state govt . Cruz has no resume of qualification for the job of US president, pure of heart as he may be. Donald Trump has the actual years of experience in every phase of business because it takes a knowledge of how to survive in the commercial world which keeps America afloat. The political savvy that Rush attributed to Cruz is easy to have at hand because of Trump access to Newt Gingrich and Rudy Juliane and others. Cruz needs to learn to walk better before he jumps into marathons. Rush is not convincing anybody that Cruz is just an innocent among wolves.

As to Rush's "Cruz is the quintessential outsider", a few questions:

1)Who set up the rules in Colorado? (Establishment)

2)Why did they set up those rules? (To establish an Establishment firewall)

3)Who benefited from the arrangement? (Cruz)

4.How am I supposed to believe that "your guy" is the "quintessential outsider"? (????????????)

What’s puzzling is how Rush is perceived as being all in for Trump in such quarters as Red State. They’re madderin hell at Rush for supporting Trump. CTH Sundance left Rush’s name off his list of Conservative pundits who are going down in shame when Trump wins the WH. How has Rush managed to keep his nose clean in this fight? Ideas anyone?

I pulled over to type on my cell phone to the thread. Hardly the easiest thing to do.

Rush was so condescending, snarky, rude and downright mean spirited, I had to shut him off. I know I've posted before, that up to a couple of months ago, I would never even consider shutting him off. But, he has become so unlistenable, I have to. I've even cancelled my subscription for 24/7, which I've posted about here.

I don't know what's going on in Rush's life, but something is terribly amiss. He's losing listeners by the droves. That's just my opinion. I'm basing my opinion on what I'm reading here on FreeRepublic.

I would always enjoy reading this thread, and at times, commenting. Of course, I listened to his show daily. Come 12:05 I would really start enjoying the day listening to him. Not anymore. Sad!
