Texas Democrat filed a complaint with the FCC after audio was released of Cruz bundler Keet Lewis telling supporters to make unlimited donations to a super PAC. cruz frown
This was the last thing the Cruz camp needed to worry about today. WFAA reported:
Texas Democrats have filed a complaint with the Federal Election Commission claiming the campaign of Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz violated federal election law.
Announced Monday, the complaint asks the FEC to investigate an incident in which a Cruz fundraiser reportedly suggested at a campaign-hosted event that supporters give unlimited donations to a super PAC. Under federal election law, campaigns and their agents cannot solicit contributions above the federal limit of $5,000.
If you hit your max then we have a table for you that is the unlimited table, Cruz bundler Keet Lewis said at a campaign fundraiser Dec. 30 in Dallas, according to Politico, which obtained a recording of Lewis remarks.

The enemy of my enemy is my friend! Thanks to the DNC, for helping to sink this worthless turd for good.
Citizens, I am confused. Is it ok to trust the Democrats and root for them in this case, as we are currently hating Ted Cruz?
I’m willing to go either way here to help the cause, but I’m unsure how to proceed. WWTD?
Because the Dems obey all of the election laws, right?
Ted Cruz bending/breaking the rules again, just another example of his character and his ethics. You decide.
Cruz is also being investigaTED for numerous FEC violations:
Failure to report over a million dollars in loans
Accepting donations from foreign nationals
Accepting donations from unregistered organizations
Accepting donations that exceed campaign finance limits
Disbursements made without proper documentation
Inappropriate disbursements for travel
Thank you. Cruz in jail after losing this primary would be the cherry on top for sure.
Gateway Pundit apparently does not realize that
FCC and FEC are two different agencies.
Remember what they said about politics and bedfellows.
I am focused on a Trump victory
Cruz is done
I don’t care what happens to him now, he is out of the picture to me
So Dems good, Ted bad. Got it thanks.
I hate Cruz, that lying no good Cuban, Canadian, usurper of all that is right and decent. Go Democrats!
Make America Great Again! Go Trump!
If Cruz broke that election law about PACs, he should be prosecuted. He’s the brilliant lawyer; didn’t he know the law?
Typical for shyster lawyers. Not that I am for Cruz, but its typical for shysters to subvert the law for financial gain.
I say why even put him on trial. Someone as low and rotten as Cruz doesn’t deserve a trial. If the Democrats say they have proof that someone in his campaign suggested donations to a Cruz friendly PAC, then that is good enough for me to see indisputable collusion and undermining of entire Constitutional system.
Get the rope. Hang him for treason.

Did you expect that this scandal rag would know the difference?
The fact that Trumpsters approve of scaling back Free Speech protections seems to support the criticism of those who say Trump has authoritarian tendencies.
Uhhhh...I said prosecuted, not convicted. That would be up to a jury. How the heck would that be unconstitutional?
What in the world did Cruz do to deserve jail in your opinion? Trumpsters are indeed an authoritarian bunch. It looks like at some point, I'll have to evaluate which is less totalitarian -- Trump or Clinton. Clinton is on record supporting a Constitutional amendment to reduce free speech protections, so there's that.
Spot on!
Punish our enemies, democrats. Trump’s our only hope!

Are you a Cruz lover? If so, go elsewhere.
