The youngest of the eight Ohio family members found slain in execution-style murders last week received a threat on Facebook before the mass killings, Ohio's attorney general said Monday.

Christopher Rhoden Jr., a 16-year-old freshman at Piketon High School, was the subject of the threat, CBS News reported.
"I'm aware of the Facebook threat," Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine said. "Every piece of information is valuable and our investigators are certainly taking that into consideration."
The threat is just one emerging piece of evidence in the investigation, which has also uncovered cockfighting chickens and a marijuana growing operation at some of the properties where the eight were killed.
DeWine told The Cincinnati Enquirer that investigators found roosters kept in individual cages, which he said was "consistent with" an illegal cockfighting operation. DeWine cautioned, however that investigators "don't know what's relevant" to the murders of members of the Rhoden family.

Zuckerberg and his crappy website continue to get people killed.
Just a small stylistic quibble...
What is an “execution-style murder” ??
Why can’t they just write “he was executed” or “he was murdered” or “he was shot in the back of the head while on his knees”?
Nothing makes my stomach churn like media sensationalism involving dead victims...
If disabling Facebook saves just one child’s life . . .
(No, I’m not calling for it. I’m simply pointing out liberal hypocrisy.)
If you are on Farcebook you support Zuckerqueer and the new world order, plain and simple.
What am I missing?
If Facebook is anything like Apple, they'll do everything they can to obstruct justice and prevent investigators from getting relevant information from their system.
Fighting cocks, marijuana fields, nearby by Mexican encampment, mass family killing.
Hmmm. Must have been space aliens or an Iroquois war party. (sarcasm)
There are alternative sights out there for social media
Like a letter and postage stamp? Sometimes old is better.
I had an incident with a member of my extended family who was being trolled on Facebook by a criminal in the U.K. Was trying to get her to meet him in person. People have actually been killed in that scenario. I went directly to the head of security for Facebook, several times. Was absolutely blown off. The POS is in charge of security for Uber now.
You know, Ohio is just a one-day’s carriage ride from Amish country. Just sayin’
I would look very hard at surviving members of the family. If it was a family member, his pot-growing, cock-fighting days are over, but a vengeful spirit might think that a small price.
Thanks for any info.
Its a widespread term, everyone knows what it means. And it also communicates that there was no angry exchange etc. It implies detached coldness. No need to overthink it.
“extended family who was being trolled on Facebook by a criminal in the U.K. Was trying to get her to meet him in person.”
Actual question, why didn’t she just unfriend him?
